"When I refill a medication and there is a price increase, as a consumer, I want to know exactly how much I will be charged before the prescription is sent out. Every other pharmacy I've (re)filled a prescription at tells me the price in advance (regardless of whether there is an increase in price or not). Koshland is the first pharmacy I've encountered that does not tell patients how much they are being charged in advance when refilling a medication. If CVS and Walgreens can inform patients of pricing in advance, so can you. My prescription that I refilled increased by $36 and I was not notified. I called in and asked about the price increase, and was told by the rep that a mass email was sent out about a blanket 10% price increase. I checked and I did receive the email. But I don't read all of my emails - simply don't have time to go through and read every single email I receive, and I think most people are in the same boat. The way it was explained to me was that manufacturers increase their prices and therefore Koshland is forced to increase their prices. If that were in fact what was behind the price increase, each medication should be judiciously increased accordingly. The medication that is used to compound my prescription did not increase in price - I checked. When blanket price increases of this nature are passed on to consumers en masse, it becomes obvious that this is a money grab. I refuse to be treated like a cash cow. Koshland has lost a customer, and I think (and hope) will lose many more with this lack of transparency and unethical business practices. **3/1/24: Updating to 2 stars, since they did acknowledge their mistake and refunded me the $36."

"I Love this Pharmacy! I’m a new client to them, and I am consistently blown away by their service. By the time they receive the order for my RX, I am in desperate need for it. Their communication back to me is swift, and I truly appreciate how hard they work to keep me informed. They process my RX quickly, and immediately ship it. I receive the finished product within 2-3 days, and I am always surprised how quickly they can do this. My local compounding pharmacy takes 2 weeks to process an RX. My RX requires special packaging. Other compounding pharmacies that have shipped to me, often did not take care in the packaging. My RX would arrive broken, or even melted.
