Cub - Maplewood West

"Horrendous store. Good luck getting through self checkout. Good portion of their items aren't even in the system, and the registers lock you out of completing purchases when you try to scan one. Sure, an associate can unlock it for you, but they're never around, or you're ignored. Spent too much time waiting for assistance, I left my $100+ grocery order at the register and just left."

"It's the theft problem but when you treat people who are paying and not stealing like crooks.... well time to stop shopping here! Some of the staff need a break. This store gives Cub a bad name."

"I won’t ever shop at cub foods again. I’ve been fed up with cub the last couple years and now I’m done. The store is dirty and floors look like they haven’t been mopped in months. The last two times I went in, there were zero carts and zero baskets at the entrance. What am I supposed to carry groceries with? Went for a rotisserie chicken at 5:45pm on a Tuesday and they were completely out. Not the first time they’ve been sold out of rotisserie chicken when I’ve gone in. Management and corporate won’t care though. Hopefully they continue to run themselves into the ground."

"Complete Armpit. Poorly Staffed, building not maintained. No care about customers whatsover. Reached out to their CEO sometime back and never got a response. At least they are consistent about not caring. In contrast, I reached out to a newer competitor, got 2 responses in 24 hours. I promised the new guys I would not go back - and am sticking to it even though Cub is geographically more convenient. What a waste."

"This is one of the most disappointing Cub foods in the city. They seem to have a much smaller selection than other stores, it’s often cluttered and dirty, and it falls well short of what I expect from the Cub brand."
