Then one problem after another, transition strips not ordered, wrong transition strips ordered, defective carpet, defective carpet, defective carpet. Each time there was an issue, I was moved to the bottom of the customer service list. Very frustrating. When service is poor, a person might as well buy from the big box stores. I informed the owners in a courtesy letter; not one word in return."

"Last November we stopped at Independent Flooring in Eau Claire looking for tile for kitchen backsplash and kitchen flooring. I described what I was looking for and Mitch was fantastic with his suggestions. I had a certain look I wanted for the flooring and he showed us a porcelain tile that was perfect. I was not sure about backsplash and after looking at their vast variety of samples I picked out something I liked. Mitch asked if we were open to suggestions which we were and he showed us what it would look like to use the one I had picked out (quite expensive) along with a subway tile. That brought our price down and we loved it! We live in Tomah and our contractor had hooked us up with a local tile installer so unfortunately we did not have Independent Flooring install the product. I think they would have done a better job but we are still very happy with the result which I think is stunning. Our kitchen project was delayed and not finished until March 2022 but we love our kitchen thanks to Mitch. I highly recommend him and Independent Flooring."

"Do NOT expect good customer service. Nor expectations of what the promise! We spent over $15,000 for shower tile and don't even want to shower in it because of all the extra work that goes into it. Having to use a squeegee sponge the entire time of showering. I personally built a home in 1995 and went with someone else because of the treatment from them. And they STILL don't want to fix their mistake along with Barber Builders. (aka Aaron Barber Builders) Today 8/15/2022 I call about WARRANTY WORK to be done. Stuff that's been paid for and done. AND of course nobody is available. Things that 2 STATE INSPECTORS told us was very wrong!"
