"The doctor I was assigned to here has done the bare minimum. Didn't ask about any of my symptoms or health history, just looked at bloodwork and perscribed synthroid. I asked to add TPO antibody testing (comes standard on a Quest Diagnostics Thyroid Panel) and he will not. He said UCSF doesn't monitor TPO antibodies and can't do anything for Hashimotos. He then set the message so I could not reply...Some bedside manner. It's clear this doctor could care less about what's actually wrong with his patients and help them. I'm also shocked at how closed minded this doctor is at UCSF (a research hospital that is supposedly top notch)."
