Hy-Vee Grocery Store

"We went in to get crab legs and no one was at the meat/seafood counter 2pm on Wed 3/6/24 and no one was in line, we waited 10 min so we just left and went to Brothers Meats instead."

"Typically the service is really good, the staff will go out their way. I had a young cashier name, Danielle, who was really rude. She did not say hi, or any of the typical questions that you would ask. She didn’t ask me if I had a rewards number. She rang up a large box of Honey Nut Cheerios. It rung up as $4.45 but was on sale for $2.98 “with a coupon.” I even ran over to the cereal aisle to take a picture of the product to show her. Danielle didn’t even bother to offer me a coupon. So I asked her to void the product. She bagged everything up for me. But didn’t even bother to ask what my preference was on paper or plastic. I kindly said thank you. And she said, “mhmm” and then began a side conversation with her peer/colleague. Danielle, has to step up her customer skills, because she clearly has none. (Show that each customer is VALUED!) This type of interaction makes me feel unworthy of customer. I spent well over $100, when I could have chose to take my business elsewhere!"

"I love spring rolls and came for that and some juice. The spring rolls were terribly made. They let me get a new one days later, it actually held together for the most part but it still didn’t taste very good. But I like Hy-Vee over all. Great customer service. And their bakery is great!"

"The best Hy-Vee that carries Kalona SuperNatural Organic Milk and dairy --- and Eggnog of course! The closest you can get to Raw Milk in a retail store."

"Fantastic space, parking is easy. You'll find every aspect of Hy-Vee's ecosystem at this location (carwash, gas station, etc) Staff were alright, they were focused on their tasks for the most part. I was slightly confused on how the space was used, most of the store wasn't accessible. Majority of the isles had boxes in them, it was hard to take photos that told a story besides a messy one. For better context, it looked like it was a brand new store on the verge of opening although this location has been open since 2016. I'm sure it doesn't always look a mess, but the mess took away from their customer service. I'll be back to see if I have a different experience."
