"A Linder Psychiatric Group representative offered me compensation to remove my review. Linder overcharged for appointments and refused to correct billing mistakes. I took the case to a 3rd party medical billing advocate that confirmed the mistakes, still Linder refused to correct them. I took the case to the BBB, and still Linder refused to correct or be fair. Next, I turned to a county judge and the ruling was against Linder on all claims and fees. After 3 months Linder still had not paid per the judgement. Then the Placer County Sheriff served Linder with a summons that if not followed would enable a warrant for arrest, and it was only at that point payment was made to correct the billing overcharges and mistakes. There is clear documentation of these events in public records. Linder would like you to believe online reviews are a conspiracy or are bogus. The reality is a clear and consistent signal from the hundreds of negative reviews posted that Linder's business practices are exploiting people. There should be a tax audit of Linder to quantify how much they are ripping off the public with over billing, oversubscribed tax deductions for claims of charity work, and making inflated claims for the opportunity costs of missed appointments. I believe such an audit would be fruitful. In the mean time, my recommendation is that this place is terrible."
"I believe my post was deleted so I wanted to repost and continue posting. My yelp can't be deleted from your office. I notice you can't handle all the negative comments. Eric will be posting next or will it be me from his phone. Lol. You treated him like an animal you allowed him to go through a manic phase what doctors do that. Your titles as doctors should be wiped away from you and this place should be shut down. You are the animals! What a disgrace of a place! You know nothing of mental health just the way you write back to your reviews. Take your own pills that you prescribed and get some help, you need it badly!"
"This is all but comical how the same story, client after client, condemn the treatment received at Linder. Even funnier is looking at the carefully chosen words by the owners denying all of the repeated accusations. Even better you have to read what the Better Business Bureau has to say about them. There is now rating lower for a business. While signing in, each visit to see a male nurse for medication refills, not therapy, I had to provide updated information. The sign in sheet asks if your contact info has changed and if your insurance has changed. Between refills I turned 65 and became coveted by Medicare. I am on Disability with what could be termed terminal illness. The first week of Jan I saw several other Drs that had the same protocol regarding change in contact info and insurance. No hassle they updated and I had my appointment. At Linder I showed up for my appointment early and signed in indicating an insurance change. I was called to the window and was asked for my new insurance information. I provided my Medicare card and they said they don’t take Medicare. I said that’s too bad I need to refill my medication? I was told if I stayed they would charge me $218. I gulped and embarrassingly said I’m on disability I can’t afford that and I’ll have to find a provider that takes Medicare. To that I was told I’d have to pay the $218 either way. I said what do you mean. They said stay and pay $218, or leave and get charged $218 for a missed appointment. I blurted out I did not miss the appointment, I am here before you, I turned 65 and you don’t want Medicare patients. Either way I could not afford $218. Long story short they charged me and I challenged the charge. They lied to the credit card company but I have all the proof needed to prove it. I will give them far more than the $218 they stole from me, dealing with the facts. In a completely unrelated matter with Social Security regarding records they bold faced lied to me. Social Security is now on alert and going to advocate for me due to their false statements. It has gone up several ranks at Social Security in a very short time. These people are so far from caregivers the closest analogy I can think of is pyramid or a Ponzi Scheme."
"Dr. Linder is only interested in your money and could care less about his patients. Horrible doctor, do not waste your time or money. He is always a minimum of 30 minutes late to your appointment and if you don't have the time to wait, they will call it a missed appointment and charge you a ridiculous fee of $160 JUST because Dr. Linder can't manage his time properly. I came to my appointment on my lunch break and he was 30 minutes behind and I told their regional manager "I have to get back to work and I cannot wait just because Dr. Linder doesn't know how to properly manage his time" and she laughed at me and said "Well you'll be charged if you leave". They also illegally charge you for your prescriptions. If you do not get your paper script DURING your appointment and have to return to the office to pick it up, they charge $35 dollars to write it out. Everything is about money and he doesn't want to help you. He will prescribe you anything and everything just to make a buck. Again, DO NOT waste your time or money."
"DO NOT GO HERE I was hospitalized and had valid excellent quality insurance and they would send the checks they received from insurance back and wait 45 days so they could legally charge the patient the money. They don't let you know this is happening until you've got a HUGE bill and if you don't fork over the cash they won't let you continue appointments even if you NEED them. It's all about the money for Linder, they could care less about their patients."
