"I've been coming here for awhile now, the atmosphere in the office is always up and down. There's periods of time you enjoy going in staff is nice, attentive, then there's more times the staff is stressed, rushed, can't be personable because scared of management getting on them for not being fast enough. There's always an issue with one of the front desk girls, Tanya locking the doors a few mins early and being rude and/or condescending to patients making it an uncomfortable environment she shows favoritism to certain people and others even if they have a simple question she snaps at them acting as if they should already know these answers. We are here for a reason, to get help it's an extremely hard time in our lives getting sober and staff should be able to take time to talk to paients, be caring and respectful not rude and rushing them out of the office like Tayna, and talking to us like we're stupid or a bother to her,she shouldn't be in this profession if she can't handle this!"

"Getting sober isnt easy and Aegis does everything in their power to make the process easier on their patients. I've been a patient for years and reallly struggled in the beginning. Now I have 3 years sober and have aegis to thank for it. If people are giving low reviews, it is because they refuse to take accountability for their own mistakes and actions. Aegis deals with hundreds of patients on a daily basis and can recognize when someone is serious about staying clean or if there just going through the motions at someone else's expense. No one ever said getting clean was going to be easy, some times mistakes happen. They are human beings too and the dosing nurses dont even get paid usually because they're doing it for clinic hours. They are truly saints behind a tiny window. I adore the staff and couldn't imagine how dull the place would be without them holding down the fort. I will be one to admit that I carried my own bias against Aegis for awhile when I slipped up for the first time in years. It is funny how addicts will blame everyone around them for thier mistakes instead internalizing the issue in order to learn from it. Thank you very much aegis team! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to an addict in need. You all have given me the inspiration to do something positive with my life. God bless."

"This is a good place to go for treatment they have Suboxone treatment and methadone treatment. Plus counseling once a week that's pretty much mandatory. But that's with all clinics. I have been here for over 5 years clean and sober. There are three dosing windows and the nurses are nice and prompt. There's usually a doctor in every day to see patients except for the weekend I think. But I recommend this out of all clinics around Sacramento because I have been to most of them. It's nice being able to function like a normal human being everyday, I consider it a blessing to be in the program."

"I started out wondering why they allow the patients to control their own dose amount. I was seeing patients with a dose as high as 300mg! I got up to 110mg and worked my way down, but if you don't genuinely have the want to quit using, this place can make it even worse. Most of the counselors are very kind and have wonderful intentions, but some of them are just there on a pit-stop on their way to something better. I don't know how I feel about this place anymore. I feel like it would be SO easy to just fall off into the deep end!!"
