Reviews of Mental Health Urgent Care Clinic
"I brought my daughter in for assistance with her MH. We both felt a higher relief with Ms. Niemah, she was able to give us both a since of comfort movinng forward. Her attention to our needs made us feel we were in good hand. Her level of detail gave us tools to navigate our patient needs."
"This mental health urgent care is an outstanding resource for the people of Sacramento county; especially for this underserved and vulnerable population. The staff on two occasions have been kind and very helpful to my family member. We have always been treated with respect and warmth. Thank you for all you do in serving your community!"
"Let me tell u about Fatima Shabazz because I am IRATE and she shouldn't be working with anyone in crisis. I brought my daughter here because she experienced a very traumatic event at school regarding a violent act against her friend the very day. Thought I was doing a good thing to bring my daughter here to sort out that trauma because she was having a very difficult time coping. Well Fatima decided to tell my daughter that it absolutely had to be the fault of her friend that this happened. Then she went into a tangent about how black people always want to get people back. She also said her son wants to be a rapper and cut hair. Something about going to barbershops but the only thing that happens there is that people get their hair cut or sell dope and that my daughter should understand because she's black. She also said when her son starts acting like black people she calls him the N-word. I told my daughter we're leaving and we did. I'm never coming back but how dare Fatima Shabazz be racist towards my daughter during her time of extreme vulnerability and traumatize her more than she was when she arrived. I'm reporting her and have a few other people who have more pull than I do reporting her too. She needs to be fired."
"Our autistic son was having a psychiatric emergency. We came here late at night and they didn't have anyone on staff to provide the emergency psychiatric care we needed. The staff was compassionate and gave us as much information and advice they could. One staff member even called different emergency rooms in the area to see if there was an alternative. The next morning we arrived right when they opened. There's a bit of a long process, with good reason. They bent over backwards to help us in our intense need. The level of concern and compassion during our extremely challenging time was very appreciated. I wish I could express how much better things are for us, just 3 days later. We are so grateful."
"We have been fighting UC Davis and Sutter for 2 months trying to get my partner mental Heath help. We came here because we couldn’t wait any longer. I cant say enough good things about this place. Every single staff member (Justine, nurse Christy, and the lovely LCSW grad student) went ABOVE AND BEYOND with their tone, their energy, their loving kindness and patience and finally got my loved one connected with a MD that same day, set him up with a psychiatrist to take over his career (including scheduling appts) and got him set up with a case manager to follow up/check in on him. This all took place in a calm, clean environment and took only 3 hrs start to finish). We were both in tears with the kindness and help we received today. Thank you. Please do not delay utilizing this amazing resource."
