"My whole experience in the clinic has been horrible. Especially with a counselor Adam, has been very friendly but he did not have empathy. He has had a no-show five times even though two times I told him to inform me if he canceled an appointment. Is it acceptable? His excuse was to suddenly get sick or just forget to inform me before going on his vacation. He has NEVER apologized to me and fixed his problem while I have been in Kinesis. This clinic did not have communication among the counselor, supervisor, doctor, and front office manager. The office manager could have informed me instead of Adam if they had communicated, but it has NEVER happened even though I asked to do so. The supervisor Anna was also not responsible for the patient’s call. I had to leave a message many times for her. Finally, she returned my call after hearing my complaint message about not getting her call. Moreover, the nurse, doctor, and front manager did not communicate about patient matters. They didn’t get through what was going on, or what is going to do next. End up with no one accountable. Another thing, One time, I had a panic attack, Adam told me on the phone he sent somebody to my home to make sure I was ok and safe, but nobody came. Why? Is this acceptable? He also made the double booking even though he had already made an appointment with me. There was not only no explanation but also no space available for me to reschedule for the rest of the week. I was put on a lower priority than others. Because of his unprofessional and disrespectful actions, I terminated Adam. After two weeks, he called me and asked to restart counseling. The scary part for me was he had NEVER admitted and apologized for what he had done to me. Not only did he avoid facing his problems but also he tried to move on as if NOTHING HAD HAPPENED. That was a red flag. I was looking for a safe place and help to heal. However, my terrible experience with stress, frustration, anxiety, unsafe, disrespect, and distrust has gotten worse in my mental condition. Negative stars should deserve it."

"I was perfectly content with the treatment I was recieving up until the 9th of December of the year 2022 when I decided to change meds ( to Invega Sustenna ) without being given any warnings or explanation for the terrible side effects I would experience. What truly bothered me was that the current psychiatrist refused to listen to me and take me seriously when I attempted to explain how much the medication was causing me to suffer. Now as a result I am experiencing many health issues and conditions that completely destroy my quality of life, some possibly being permanent which could've been easily avoided had I been warned ahead of time. ( 6+ month update, I noticed my review has gained a considerable amount of attention since, so I'd like to update my review's description. I'm still currently experiencing an unbelievably large amount of side effects, but have at least managed to make a considerable recovery by now from dieting, excercising, and taking only natural supplements and vitamins, and can live a decent quality of life again, but still far from where it once was. The worst part of this experience was that this "medication" caused me to completely loose the ability to sleep for over 3 months, nearly 4, to the point that I eventually suffered a stroke, leaving me with double vision, cognitive impairment, liver damage, and more. If you're experiencing psychosis or have schizophrenia I strongly encourage you to seek alternatives, preferably in pills and not injections, incase of an adverse reaction. In my honest opinion however, I wouldn't even suggest taking any antipsychotics in general, since they almost always cause severe negative reactions, and when taken long-term can eventually cause permanent, irreversible brain damage by reducing the grey matter, some more than others, and can even lead to movement disorders like Tardive Dyskinesia which can be somewhat treated, but not cured, and is also permanent. If anything you're honestly better off taking something that's not artificial/synthetic like this, such as something organic and plant-derived. This update may seem unnecessarily excessive, but I truly care and don't want anyone else to end up like me, depressed, miserable, and mentally/physically crippled, most likely for the rest of their lives. I will at least leave some unrelated positive feedback however, which is that aside from the psychiatrist, and obviously this medication, I genuinely enjoyed my relationship with everyone else there, specifically Adam, Anna, Shawn, and Tanya, they were wonderful and helpful to me the entire time I knew them, and even miss them to this day. But in the end I'd rather remain free of medications, specifically antipsychotics for the rest of my life, because while I will most likely never make a full recovery, the least I can do is prevent any further damage and stop others from meeting the same horrible fate like I did. )"

"This clinic was a literal lifesaver when I had no insurance. They were able to see me at no out-of-pocket cost and I saw two clinicians (psychiatrist and therapist) as well as provide a multitude of groups. If you, or a loved one, are in need of medication management and psychiatric services on a sliding scale, I truly recommend this place. I have been coming here for about 5 years now, although that time has probably come to an end. The beloved MD I saw has retired, and the new docs have much different treatment philosophies. The two personal therapists I've seen over the years were great, but treatment staff turns over quickly; it's the nature of a clinic like this, as many are just out of school and/or satisfying clinical hours to obtain licensure. In the last couple months Kinesis has gone through some major changes in both policy and staff. While they again have MDs in the office, they now insist that they are primarily a "medication clinic" and do not serve the needs of anyone high functioning or appearing as such. Also, be advised their policy has been updated to include drug screening."

"I found this place to be very welcoming and friendly and caring ,and I got depression med's prescribed to me the first day I went, the staff are super understanding ,i felt sorry for them when they have to deal with people who are super angry and delusional/ don't think this is a good place to go off on people or you will take a ride downtown and it wont be fun . But if you can hold yer mud n just be cool they will jump through hoops for you . Linda Tillotson is an excellent case manager , super professional and awesome /she catches every detail and is a sweet lady as is DR Prophet she is super sweet and kind and also helpful ....I was kinda shocked to see the bad review all I can think was it was a holiday ...keep in mind people who get told no generally flip out and have tantrums . I give this place 5 STARS !"
