"Front desk workers are very chatty with each other, constantly gossiping and can never answer a simple question. Anytime I try and call I'm on hold for over 20 minutes. Seems patient care is second on their mind, I'll be looking to switch to another location."
"I was finally able to go in to the cardiology office after three attempts of scheduling. They keep canceling on me and after planning ahead months in advance I got a a confirmed appointment date and time. The day before my appointment they call me to tell me my appointment needs to be pushed earlier. Luckily I was able to make it and didn’t want to wait another three months to be seen. My appointment was at 11 and I was there to check in at 1045. Went in about 1055 and waited for more than 30 mins until I decided to go ask why it’s taking so long. The cardiologist isn’t even the office. I know he may have to be called in for an emergency but they could have at least told me about the situation. The receptionist isn’t too friendly on the phone and service here is definitely not up to par. I will looking for other offices to get checked up."
"First off, this review is only pertinent since Palomar Health group bought them and took over. I've been a patient of Graybill for a very long time and it was generally five star care and treatment I received there. Dr. Ricci, Dr. Borecky, and Dr. Paz are awesome!! The medical staff was good; everything was good. Now that Palomar is pursuing their quest to become the North county megopoly in healthcare, things have gone downhill. Business practices and patient scheduling has slowly eroded to the point where phones don't get answered, messages don't get relayed, and prescriptions are delayed in being renewed. I recently spent TWO hours (not an exaggeration) going through the phone tree and waiting on hold before the system disconnected my call. So I drove down there, and went into the downstairs lobby; 4 ladies in front of computers - one checking in a patient, one talking to me, and two chitchatting between each other. I relayed my frustration with the phone not being answered, and was told they were short-handed. I waved to the two people not doing anything, and was told they don't answer phones, that's done somewhere else. They encouraged me to use the online portal, but after an hour and a half this morning of going through and re-establishing my account because my credentials didn't work, I still can't get into it. The website locks and freezes, I start all over and get so far and it stops again. If Dr. Graybill was alive today, I'm certain he'd be pretty disappointed in what his legacy business has become. I'm going to be looking for a different doctor, not because my doctor isn't great, but because stuff like this is what is making Graybill so bad. I guess that's just part of the corporate infrastructure that Palomar brings because it was great before . It sucks."
"Dr. Rodriguez should not be practicing medicine. I had a fever with sore throat for over two weeks straight, and not once did he even do a basic assessment with looking at my throat. Ten days into my illness, I went to urgent care and received better care from a physician's assistant who finally gave me an upper respiratory culture and treated my illness. Find a different doctor, especially one who won't charge you $40 to sign a paper and not even ask you about your symptoms."
"Worst service ever!!! The moment I got there the receptionist had a stank attitude with me, the doctors once I was checked in barely did anything and told me to go to their X-ray office next door I checked in there to and I waited 2 hours and I never got called in for my X-ray once I got fed up and asked they said I was “mysteriously” deleted from their waiting list & refused to let me check in again after waiting 2 hours they couldn’t even say anything why they just gave me a dead phone number to call collections even tho I already paid past debts to them in full years ago and kept using that as an excuse to not help me out. I waited 2 hours in pain with a busted fractured hand and they refused to help or treat me. Don’t go to grey bill ever! Worst health service! No accountability on their end, & rude/condescending employees. Save your money go to a different urgent care clinic greybill will refuse to help you at all."
