"Horrible experience here. Guy and the check-in window was a total douche. Came here to have my son’s earache checked out, and the guy was blaming me for their end of Scripps’ mismanagement of our health care documents. Piss poor attitude the whole time. Glad I don’t have Scripps medical with this experience, as my son is on my Wife’s plan."

"I would give it a zero star. Absolutely bad experience, please don't go visit health express if you have other choices. My daughter has been with primary doctor at Scripps for years. When we visited the health express, she was billed as new patient and significantly overcharged! We paid the bill without looking into details of the code they misused. We asked the insurance company to look into that, the explanation is the visit is too long (too long waiting in the check room) so that they have to find a way to charge extra money for that. The billing department explained that because my daughter was first time seen at health express and defined as new patient by their definition. Still fighting for that! My original comment was deleted by google. Please do not take kids to Scripps health express as you will be charged as new patient."

"Nice modern facility, very helpful staff, convenient location for getting vaccinations, especially for people with minor illnesses, they can just walk in without waiting to schedule an appointment to see their physician."

"I came here with my friend while they were experiencing some minor stomach pain and the team went above and beyond to help them. They provided medication and advice on additional home remedies to try that could relieve the pain. We were in and out in 30 minutes. Beautiful new facility, highly recommend!"

"Incident date : Friday, 8/12/22. First time coming here and I was so excited because it's a new facility closest to home. I called around 9:30am to see what the process was beforehand and was told it's a walk in clinic, but making an appointment was better. So I made an appointment at 11:30a. I went at my appointment time and was told it was a 1.5 hour wait and the folks that came before me have to go first even though I had an appointment. What's the point of having an appointment time if you're not going to honor it?!? And don't tell patients it's better to have an appointment when it's actually worse and it's STILL a first come basis. I could have came in earlier and have been seen when I was told there were 2 people waiting at the time. Instead, I spent all morning waiting. WORST Scripps experience ever!!!!! Also, the care coordinator working at the front desk was rude . Not the express clinic person, but the person sitting next to her. Wouldn't recommend her working at a patient care facility with that attitude. She was completely unwelcoming. I was also told I had to wait in my car in the 85 degree weather for the next 1.5 hours while waiting to be seen. So me as a pregnant woman, am currently sweating in my car waiting and I know for a fact that there were some people waiting at the waiting area. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THE EXPRESS CLINIC AT ALL! Nothing express about it. Update: 2 stars. Appointment was done around 1:25. The care coordinator for the health express was kind and so was the provider, who was a PA. The PA took her time to examine me and I didn’t feel rushed."
