Newport Urgent Care

"Zero stars. The doctor here does not listen. I told her my symptoms and what I thought was causing them. Did she not believe me? She ignored the symptoms described and instead treated what she was familiar with. She had never had a patient that had what I had, she said, which is not medically relevant. Still experiencing symptoms, I went to my doctor who then prescribed me the right medication. I was right, she was wrong. She should have listened. It put my healing back an entire month."

"All 3 staff I interacted with, including the doctor, were rude, patronizing, and dismissive. It seems like treating patients was an inconvenience for them and they’d rather get paid for doing nothing. I was there an hour before they close so they might feel “done” for the day, but no one with that attitude should work in the medical field. The doctor (middle aged white male. Nope. He didn’t introduce himself so I don’t know his name) talked to me as if I were delusional and my symptoms were nothing. He literally said “you’re fine. Just go home” without examining me at all or even bothered to ask details of my symptoms. So unprofessional and useless. A disgrace of the doctor title. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else."

"One of the best urgent cares in Newport Beach. Very clean kept and the guy who did my drug screening for a work related injury was actually super chill. He could’ve been rude but made it a smooth & easy process - wish I had his name to thank him but I forgot to ask… The girl at the front desk was nice also. She recommended me to try a fine dining French restaurant in the same parking lot - I’ll be sure to try it now! Plus the results came instantly… Anyways, thanks again Newport Urgent Care. :) Happy Valentines Day!"

"I went to this urgent care to get a second opinion on a laceration that I got on my face. There were two people ahead of me and I was still able to be seen within 30 minutes. The attending was very efficient and friendly! She was thorough and I was out of there within 15 minutes with a wound clean and some sterile tape. Would definitely recommend this urgent care!"

"This is an amazing Urgent Care facility! The staff from Receptionist, to PA, Leo, to Dr. Renee could not have been nicer or more professional. They took care of me in a timely manner. I’d highly recommend this Urgent Care to anyone."
