"Very sketchy billing. I paid the $80 for my appointment.I origally selected to use insurance but then opted to self pay to avoid any further steps. I then get a bill for more money. Sky MD will not do anything about this. My bill was $250 additional dollars to the $80 I paid already. I don't recommend them for this reason."

"This service is garbage. They say it will cost $80. I put in insurance to see if it would cover anything. Turns out even if your insurance won’t cover anything, Sky MD still uses it. We got a bill today for more. If we didn’t use insurance, the cost would have been $80. Because we tried to use insurance it was an additional $300. How does that make sense. Be very careful using this scam of a service."

"My face has been suffering from what seemed like a rash that never went away from almost a year. It was itchy, it would burn, and even washing it with filtered water was painful. I cut out all products except cetaphil/Vaseline to moisturize but it never healed. I’ve been to several dermatologist and they all went back and fourth between contact dermatitis or perioral dermatitis. Some tried to give me more hydrocortisone to put on my face and some gave me me creams that didn’t work. None worked and it was putting me into a depression with the way my face looked and hurt. As a last resort, I decided to give a shot with virtual consultation and I am so glad I did. I was Redirected to Dr. Peppercorn and that was the first time someone asked me several questions about what was going on, what I’ve tried. Being virtual, I was able to be in constant communication with Dr. Peppercorn throughout the process, talking about my progress or ask questions. This is a huge benefit to me, as you usually lose that once you leave the office. His treatment was the first time my face actually made progress. One the days I am worried my condition would worsen, I would share my concern to Dr. Peppercorn and he would respond. I’m only two weeks into my treatment so far, but this is the first time in 7 months my condition is getting better rather than worsening. Highly recommend and glad I explored this option."

"My doctor with SkyMD was great and my experience for getting medication was also wonderful. However, seems like their billing department can get sneaky. I don't remember ever giving them permission to charge my insurance and opted for self-pay. I happily paid the flat fee, but they still charged my insurance. Now I owe then more money. When I called them, they did not want to do anything about it. I am not a fan of such sneaky tactics. I would advise to attend them with extreme caution."

"Personally I had an excellent experience with this service. It was like any doctors appointment I had. Put in my medical history, reason for visit, photos, I talked to the provider and he was amazing really listened to my concerns, Dr Kevin Wright. He also gave me great recommendations on what I could do to help my skin as well as some affordable products I could add to my skincare routine that would address my issues. I did receive a tretinoin prescription and it was sent to my pharmacy and filled with no issues. I will absolutely be doing a follow up visit in 6 months with the same provider."
