"I've never experienced what I just had happen to me at any other medical office. I scheduled an apt over a month ago, they told me over the phone that I needed to fill out the new patient forms before my apt, I got an email and started the new patient forms but got busy and never finished. Then weeks go by, I get a reminder text the day before my apt (no mention of my forms not being filled out), then at 4:30pm the day before I get a call from their office letting me know that since my forms weren't filled out that my apt the next morning was being cancelled. No previous call, no previous notification, no alarming messaging on the original call letting me know if I don't have them I will be cancelled. My apt was the next morning, and I asked why I couldn't just fill them out tonight because my apt was the next morning and the girl told me "the Dr doesn't have enough time to review them". Are you kidding me? The dr needs hours and hours to study my medical history before seeing me for the first time? Look, I understand if this is how they want to be thorough and understand their patients before a first apt, but guys, if you're gonna just flat out cancel my apt that I've been so excited about and waiting weeks for with only a phone call the night before to let me know it's been cancelled, I highly suggest you do this maybe TWO DAYS BEFORE so that you can give your new patients an opportunity to fill out the forms so they can actually keep the apt that they have been really looking forward to. Worst experience from a medical office, like I said earlier, never had this happen to me in my life. Now I have to find another office and prob wait weeks again when I really need help now. Thx for the lesson though, I will never forget to fill out new patient forms again in the future for the fear of getting cancelled on! Sigh..."
