"I’ve been here a few times & it was great. I got there around 7:20am. 1 patient was leaving. Sat in the empty lobby till 8am. Paid my copay. Was taken back. They weighed me and put me in a room for another 15 minutes. When the nurse came in, he was wearing a blue puffer jacket. Friendly, no name tag, looked in my throat with a light, then stood over 4 ft away from me. Didn’t feel my neck which was totally swollen, didn’t look at my ears or nose. He didn’t even have a stethoscope to check my chest or my back if I was wheezing or had fluid in my lungs. Left the room came back and said they had no more strep tests so he couldn’t do that test? I told him my symptoms. I thought I might have food poisoning, but my throat was killing me maybe from the acid of throwing up for the entire day? I could barely swallow. He asked me to come back if I still wasn’t feeling well, but I said what if I am sick, the weekend was coming up & I wouldn’t have time. If he could just give me some antibiotics if I started feeling worse. He also prescribed me a steroid, and some lidocaine gel for my throat. I know nothing about steroids, so I picked them up at the pharmacy but I didn’t use them. He never explained what that was for anyway. Then left the room. It felt look like he just walked off the street and into the room. It’s 2 days later now and I still feel terrible. I started taking the antibiotics. Not sure what I have, but that certainly didn’t make me feel any better. Weirdest urgent care experience ever. I will say I’ve seen Dr. Nunez here & he was very thorough with me, my son, and my parents."
"Dr Nunez just told me that if I don't want to wait for a referral then maybe I should buy a PPO next time. Completely rude and unprofessional. I have a torn MCL and he in no way tried to help me nor would he listen to what happened to me today as far as appointments go and the lack of communication and inconvenience. I took the day off to get this handled and their Dr didn't even show up. I had to do a tele-med through their urgent care. And now I have to wait for a damn referral in the mail and I am in tremendous pain!! I find it difficult to understand why a provider would say that to a patient."
"This review is directed towards Kayla. She stepped to the plate and hit a home run by resolving a very frustrating situation. Pam and I appreciate your efforts. Job well done!!"
"My physician in Hemet could not see me for my broken toes in Hemet. Had to be sent to their Urgent Care over by Temecula Parkway. Tried to call for over 30 minutes to find their address and was almost there when they answered their phones. Phone attendant said they had over a thousand customers for reason it taking so long. I arrived there and there were no patients in the lobby or in the offices in the back(clearly not busy). Vitals taken and was seen by Physician Assistant who said will put in xray and call me in an hour. I said just go home. He said yes. Temecula Valley imaging was slammed could not be seen. Next day went to Valley Imaging again, they said your doctor never put the order in. Spent another half hour trying to call urgent care, put on hold another 20 minutes. My doctor was not in so she had to find doctor to put request in. Went to Valley Imaging in Murrieta to be told I could not be seen. They gave phone sheet with wrong number to San Jacinto imaging closest to me. Called and said they could not see me until Tuesday or Wednesday. I have Diabetes Type 2 and have Neuropathy in my feet, cannot tell true trauma to toes. Very bad experience overall. Recommed they stop contracting out their phone answering service and pay someone to answer the phone to their business."
"We’ve been to this place a couple of times and I am pretty dissatisfied with the physicians assistant. The good news is is that the hours are great and they are usually able to fit you in same day. I find the physicians assistant to be very flippant and not a clear communicator regarding a diagnosis after you share symptoms. I always have to ask very specific questions and to request tests such as a mono test, a strep culture, ask questions about allergies regarding my daughter’s repeated sore throats. One time, he even shrugged his shoulders-no joke. If you think your patient has a viral infection rather than some thing secondary or bacterial that requires an antibiotic at least suggest medication’s that can manage the symptoms and help the patient feel better, which he does not. they do not call you in a timely manner when your test her back and you have to chase them down for two days or more. We will be going back to CVS from now on for urgent care visits, as the PA there is fantastic."
