"There’s no point they refer 90% of people to go to Kaiser urgent care in Murrieta"
"This place was an absolute joke, being a Kaiser member and being treated like complete trash. The nurse practitioner who was there today Thursday September 21 at 11:00 am, was the rudest of rude. It was completely empty and they were sitting down in the back doing nothing talking about patients that smelled bad and laughing. I rang the bell twice and was greeting 10 mins after waiting in front while they were chatting it up in the back. I took in my daughter for minor services ( to check a scrape) and they couldn’t even do that. She told me I would have to take her to a different provider or Kaiser in Murrieta This is the third bad experience I have, this clinic should just be shut down Just to mention the fact that they don’t want to attend ANYONE complete laziness Waste of gas and time."
"The staff was super nice and caring. The nurse practitioner was great. Asked me questions, demonstrated what was going with my body to give me a clear understanding."
"I have mixed feelings about this Kaiser clinic at Target. I made an appointment (fairly easy process online) to obtain a clearance note and get a Tb skin test for employment purposes. I’ll give it one star for convenience of location for people in Hemet and for easy booking. I was greeted by Valerie LVN demanding I put on a mask (it’s March 2023 three years into covid) acting like I should know that all medical facilities STILL require them. Apparently Kaiser did not share the studies with their employees that masks are more harmful to health and do not protect from Covid. But I understand the one narrative they’re pushing so this is not surprising…just the way she went about it was disappointing. Valerie Spaulding the Nurse Practitioner did everything I did NOT ask her to do such as order a pap, a mammo, and a boat full of labs, documented she educated on self-breast exam but wouldn’t dare touch or show how to complete one….all of this…but she would not sign a paper saying I was free of communicable diseases and cleared to work…. Which was the ONLY thing I needed her to do. The note she wrote states…”deemed able to RETURN to work at full capacity“ and “Routine physical exam done today, wnl”. Well guess what Valerie… the company won’t take your wnl note! I was never off work and I made myself clear that I was there to be cleared for a new job. So I wasted my time and insurance money for a physical exam which does me no good. What a joke! I had to return to get the Tb test read on Sunday. At 1:59 I was told by Celia LVN to go walk around for 30 min because she couldn’t print out my TB paperwork since the “computer wouldn’t let her” since it was her break time. I sat and waited. Another girl came in for a 2:30pm appt. At 2:35pm Celia was now helping me when the gal said her appt was at 2:30 and asked to be checked in. Celia asked me to wait while she checked in the girl…who couldn’t find her card. So I stood there silent but irritated while waiting again… Okay these were little inconveniences and I get it… people need lunch breaks and there is only one LVN at this clinic and one NP who is doing only who knows? while the LVN deals with everyone. Valerie didn’t come out to discuss the note with me…she let Celia be the bearer of bad news stating she could not say I was “free of communicable diseases”…the exact wording the employer requires. She said further testing would be required …Seriously? I asked what testing…and I was met with a blank stare. I had a net Tb…. Does she need to test for AIDS? I’ve received all my Hep B series. What else is needed?? Celia told me I would have to make an appointment with my PCP to get the note with the proper wording (no communicable disease and able to perform the assigned duties)..which is very standard on work forms. After realizing I didn’t have a PCP with Kaiser she managed to find a fax number where I can fax a form to…maybe a clerk behind a desk will mark off that I’m free of communicable diseases since the healthcare practitioner won’t. What a huge waste of time, energy, and effort. And since I have Kaiser what are my other options to start my job this week? I wasted my one physical exam on a NP who refuses to clear me to start a job."
"First personal experience with a target clinic, got there right when it opened at 11am on a Sunday. There were already other people waiting, so I signed in my daughter and was about 6th on the list. Seemed that there was only one person working in the office, waited my turn to check in. I was told that the next “walk in” a slot was 1:30pm, come back around 1. Luckily I had a few errands to do in the area so I figured we would just hang around for a couple hours. By the time we left about 11:20 am, no one that was ahead of me with or without appts had been brought back to be seen. They all were still waiting. I get a call at exactly 12:30pm (over an hour after we left the clinic) to say they have to cancel the appt because the nurse practitioner never showed up! This is beyond frustrating because my daughter couldn’t be seen and the only other option is now Urgent Care. Had I known that information when I got there or even before over an hour after I left, I would have just gone straight to Urgent care. I don’t understand why they don’t have more support staff scheduled, it seems like kaiser members would benefit from a more efficient check in process and maybe have multiple practitioners scheduled to work in case one is unable to work. Then I call member services to express my concern and am told it’s not a Kaiser facility so my complaints should be directed to the Target Clinic. Not sure if this information is true as Kaiser refers it’s patients here for care all the time and there is a big logo Kaiser Permanente in the way when you walk in. I am a registered nurse for Kaiser and this is a very poor reflection on Kaiser and disappointing service."
