"I can only speak for myself, but going here was a great experience overall. The highlight of this place for me was the therapist Julie who pulled it all together. If she's gone now, I would probably dock another star as the rest of the staff was a mixed bag in terms of organizing. Despite this, everyone was caring and understanding, and this felt like a very safe space to tackle some difficult issues, so I cannot really fault the atmosphere. It is a new center, so it certainly did feel like a work in progress, and the management was going through a transitional period. And there were some uncertainties with coverage which certainly left an anxious taste, albeit the staff did help resolve this in the end. Overall this was a very homey experience, and I don't think there are many facilities like this around. I sincerely hope this place continues to operate and be there for others, and help them as it helped me. Thank you LAOP for all you've done for me."

"VERY VERY rude, unprofessional and unproductive therapists and team. Lack of quality food, especially for those with allergies — therapists was mixed with untrained interns and condescending “professional” therapy. Pushes TMS on you to do so they can make more money off of you. Staff is very two-faced, with most information pulled from YouTube and Google Images. IOP/PHP session is mostly filled with free-talking sessions and not actual education. Therapists are very catty, and aren’t helpful at all. Likes to projects their insecurities and assumptions on a person, and gets mad when a patient stands up for themselves. When I told the therapists my issues, all of them didn’t know how to treat my common symptoms and ignored me, and soon discharged me from the program without notice. Don’t recommend coming here. The director of this place, Shirley, isn’t good at her job and doesn’t care about their patients. Therapists are constantly switched out, fired and replaced."

"LA Outpatient is an amazing treatment center. The quality of care from the amazing people that work there is a major part of what changed my life and the way I think about my recovery. I had zero coping skills before coming here which is how I ended up in this mess in the first place."
