Reviews
"I came to this place with a very bad cough and trouble breathing. The ladies at the front did not treatment as a dying disease, they were friendly and helpful. The doctor which I can't remember his name was very nice and explained my best options since I was a cash patient and out of town. I recommend this place, I was feeling better by the time I got out and it only took a few minutes."
"This review is primarily directed at billing. The facility itself is clean, we had a pleasant experience within the facility however the billing is a total scam and fraud. My insurance has denied the majority of my services with urgent care, they state it's because of HOW the services were billed through this facility. According to my insurance they've never seen urgent care facilities bill the way this facility did. They recommend a handful of lab work that is all processed/billed separately so that they can get more money from insurance policies and the patient. It's sickening. They know how to bill insurance in a way that the patient pays more out of pocket. I do not recommend this facility unless you want to spend the next 3+ months on the phone with their billing and your insurance being the middle man for things to get done correctly or if you want to just end up paying the bills and putting it behind you which I'm sure they anticipate the majority of patients doing rather than dealing with a months long hassle. I work with insurance for a living, all day, everyday and luckily have the knowledge to fight. I can't imagine the amount of patients this company has taken advantage of when they come in for care during a vulnerable time. Avoid EXER facilities unless you want to be taken advantage of."
"This evening at 8pm a family member experienced a medical issue. We finally decided to try Exer as we walk past it every day. They are open until 9. We walked in at 8:26 and started filling out paperwork. At 8:30 a lady came out and said sorry we saw our last patient at 8:30. I said but it’s 8:30 now and we have been here 5 minutes and you close in 30 minutes. With a cold careless attitude she said sorry were closed and walked away. Most unprofessional experience i have had with a walk in. It’s no wonder the place is always empty."
"This was my first time coming here and it was a great experience. I checked in, and there were a few people ahead of me, so I waited for a little while. It is a clean and comfortable area with many seats and a water fountain available. The nurse and doctor who helped me were both very kind and thoughtful. I appreciated the care they gave me and will be back next time I need a trip to urgent care (hopefully not soon!)"
"I dislocated a finger earlier today so I went to urgent care but my insurance wasn't accepted, however, the front desk associate at that facility recommended I go to Exer Urgent Care. From the moment I walked into Exer I was warmly greeted by Allie, she assisted me fantastically with the super easy check-in process. I only waited a few minutes before Jamaica brought back to a patient room to take vitals and take x-rays. Jamaica was very patient and she made the x-ray taking process easy to sit through. Dr. Peter Su, MD provided excellent compassionate care. The x-ray came back negative and Dr. Su successfully put my finger back into place. I was in and out of Exer today in under one hour. I look forward to follow-up with Exer Urgent Care in a couple of weeks! Thank you Exer staff!"
