"I love how everyone is so friendly especially the Dr. Dr Hart is very attentive and a great listener. He always makes me feel comfortable and is very knowledgable. I wish he was my PCP"
"I used to love this urgent care bc of the short wait times. Went there mid of Nov with a cold. They tested me for the flu & covid. A month later I get a bill over $100 I have to pay myself bc they chose a lab that’s out of network. No one informed me about this. Called around for weeks, left messages. No one calls you back. Very frustrating process! Will not go back there & would not recommend to anyone."
"My wife took our daughter to this MemorialCare Urgent Care on Adams with a scheduled appointment at 1:05. Even though they were there on time they still had to wait for over an hour and a half to be told that the doctor chose to take his lunch break at 2pm without telling his staff. When she asked what time he would be back they told her 3pm, which she was willing to wait, but they informed her that they have other patients with appointments at that time. They offered my wife movie tickets and a reimbursement on the copay for the appointment, but my daughter never got to see a doctor. The worst part is, we took my daughter out of school early just to go to this location because we thought they had an appointment available. For such a large organization such as Memorialcare Medical Group, this is unacceptable. Apparently they have forgotten how to hire good doctors and staff because this is just ridiculous. I would highly recommend choosing a different urgent to go to."
"Been here two times. Short wait time. Clean modern facility. Friendly staff. Good medical team. Recommend."
"This place is absolutely dangerous and a death trap! I took my Girlfriend here who is a regular patient of memorial care. She had an Asthma attack and was having severe symptoms. She had been in contact with a doctor who works at memorial care and instructed her to seek immediate medical attention at urgent care or the ER. She also had her nurse contact my girlfriend to make sure she was getting to urgent care. We rushed over to the urgent care in Huntington Beach. Upon arrival, she explained the whole situation and asked them to check all notes on file and explained her symptoms. At this point, she was experiencing a severe reaction from her medication which caused shaking, vomiting, chest pain, numb limbs and almost fainting. After they were told this, she was instructed to have a seat and provided her ID and medical insurance. After much time passed and noticing the waiting room was empty, I asked the receptionist what was taking so long to get her help. She informed me that they were on hold and want to get verification on insurance before providing any medical attention. We informed them that she had recently been in 2 weeks ago with the same company to see her neurologist. Everything is still the same on file. The receptionist responded that they like to re-verify each month that there has been no changes to the insurance. My girlfriend has Cigna PPO insurance. The protocol in place, to verify that they will be paid on a visit, is flawed and put her life in jeopardy. We asked a second time to be seen and that she needed help right away. They continued to make us wait because they hadn’t received confirmation from insurance. This can potentially take up to 48hours. Given the circumstances, she should have been seen and treated while they continue to verify on their time. We had to leave to get her fluids as she was turning grey and needed to lie down. I am incredibly disappointed in this lack of care for the patients and major medical error."
