"They take forever after taking you into the patients room. My 3 year old started getting desperate after 45 minutes of doctor not walking in therefore i took her back out to to the reception to wait there and right away one of the doctors called her and he put a long face because we didn’t wait in the patients room for as long as he wanted. Will never go back!!"
"I came here today May 2023 to see about a migraine headache I have. The young lady at the desk asked for my ID and she filled out the paperwork due to I Dont read or understand Spanish language writing that well. When done I asked her for a copy of the documents that were filled out so I can ask my husband to read them at home. Her supervisor told its against clinics policy to do that. Not against HIPAA. If I can read it I can ask for a copy. So I left and will let the state know and country. On Tuesday of next week. Hopefully they will let their parents decide if they want a paper they can’t read."
"If you’re looking for a quick fix for minor health issues (antibiotic shots, etc.) this is the local clinic for that. I noticed they did not have an M.D. on staff when I went yesterday, you’re seen by a P.A., no bedside manner whatsoever. He didn’t even introduce himself when he walked in the room and went straight to asking what my symptoms were (which is not standard practice) You’re paying out of pocket to not even be seen by an official doctor. Also there is no sense of privacy, you can hear through the walls and he was very blunt with everyone there. So the reviews you read about the staff are true. They look down on patients and are unprofessional. I think they take advantage of the fact that they service the Hispanic community and most of them will not complain or speak up on this. You will not be receiving a Cedar Sinai or PIH experience for the average $300-500 they charge for their medication. They should invest in professional development starting with customer service fundamentals."
"I don’t know what happened to this clinic but they have gotten worse! My husband took my daughter in because she had an ingrown toenail. They charged us around $275 if memory serves me right. My husband asked the doctor to do the nerve treatment so it wouldn’t happen again. The doctor did the procedure, we paid and left. Only for it to happen again. We went back and paid another $80 for antibiotics. Then we were told to go back a third time so the doctor could check her toe. When my husband went back the third time my daughter’s toe was red and swollen, it was obviously infected. Then the doctor asked my husband where they did the procedure because it was not done properly. After Saavedra examined my daughter he said the nerve treatment was never done! To which my husband replied that she had been there previously and that same doctor Saavedra had been the one to see her all those times. He told my husband he didn’t do the nerve treatment because they ran out of the medication on my daughter’s first visit. So why did they not tell us that the first time? Why were we charged for a procedure that was NOT done to begin with? On our second visit doctor Saavedra told my husband he was going to give him a discount on the third visit. The third visit came and went and they refused to give us a discount because the manager has to authorize it. We had to pay another $260 on the third visit. Grand total for the same issue is $615.00!!!!!! On top of that the staff is so rude and have no customer service skills. If you look at the other reviews they all complain about rude staff who argue with the customers! All the times my husband has been there with my daughter the girl who takes the payments has been rude and argues with the customers. There is another girl who whispers and talks so slowly like she’s sleepwalking or something. If a person is deaf or hard of hearing or even elderly folks won’t be able to communicate with her. The wait times are ridiculously long. On our second visit we waited 3 hours and when I called to see how much longer the wait was going to be the girl lied and said she had already called me 30 minutes ago, to which I replied that it was not true. Both phone numbers we gave them to call us were working. My cell phone or my husband’s cell phone never got a call. It is sad that this is the type of service this clinic gives. Especially, since they are not giving quality service medically speaking or with customer service! The community deserves better. Stay away from this place and save your hard earned money. Go somewhere where you are given with respect and quality care. They told my husband to call back on Thursday 4/28/22 when the manager is there so she can process the discount the doctor repeatedly said he would give and that they would refund it to our original form of payment. Let’s see how it goes and if they keep their word. Original Review: 5 years ago from 2017. Staff is friendly for the most part. The female Doctors are great, they make me feel very comfortable and I prefer them as opposed to the male Doctors. 4 stars because sometimes the wait is ridiculously long. It just depends on the day and time you go."
"Zero stars if i could .After reasearch and asking around I was introduced to this clinic name Clinica mi Pueblo in the city of Huntington Park. So today I woke up, got ready and headed for the clinic , after an hour on the bus I finally arrived at my destination. The young red head lady was professional and attentive to my concerns so after filling some paperwork I was told to come back in two hours or maybe earlier if some one calls me from the office .so I went to get a bite. Less then an hour passed and got a call from the clinic to head back. At arrival i entered the physical check station and was asked a few questions regarding if i was involve in any accident i said yes but my visit was not regarding the accident injuries that happen more then 4 months ago ether way I was kicked out and given a business car for some other place to go.the tall nurse or doctor was the dk of all this not having manners or training of how to treat your customers. I guess a yelp,BBB, Google and a complaint to the bar or Osha will be needed for this .to the owner of this establishment ..teach your crew business procedures on how to treat a customer And thanks on wasting my time."
