"I booked an appointment online for a consultation for the Mona Lisa Touch procedure with Mrs Howard to get more information about the treatment and to get familiar with the office. When I arrived, I didn't find their office right away. I landed in the "Lobby" and noticed that there was no direct access to the office from that place. I called Mrs Howard's office and asked them how to find their place. I felt that the person on the phone was not really welcoming but she helped me to find my way. When I entered the office the feeling persisted because the assistant who talked to me showed a lack of empathy. You know, it is not easy for me to approach someone with this intimate treatment anyways. The design of the office is very high end but this didn't help me feel safer in that moment. When I showed my insurance card they said that the treatment was not covered because I have an HMO. They asked me to provide an urine sample and I wondered why I had to do it. In the restroom, there was no place to leave the urine sample so I had to take it back with me feeling a little bit exposed. They led me into a room and told me that Raisa Howard was on the phone. An assistant took my information, asked health questions. Then another assistant came in (the one who had answered the phone earlier) and explained to me the procedure of the Mona Lisa Treatment, the reason why I came. I then said that I had to think about it and wanted to leave. When I passed the office desk at the entrance I learned that I had to pay $175. I asked them why I had to pay so much money for an informative meeting which is basically a sales talk for them? When I had booked the meeting online, there was no indication that the meeting would cost anything. The assistant then asked Mrs. Howard if I had to pay. Mrs Howard, to whom at this point I hadn't talked at all before, came out of her office and told me that it was because I had an HMO and it was my responsibility to get this information in advance. There was again the lack of empathy and warmth and I felt like a suppliant. There was no way to negotiate the price and I left pretty offended and bummed. After I left, I received a voice message. They said that the $175 would be credited towards the treatment. Based on this experience, I am not going there anymore. It felt like a scam and I will contest the payment."

"The office is decorated with beautiful artwork, and is very clean. Lots of free parking out front. There was a mixup with my appointment, but they quickly admitted that it was at their end, and luckily for me, they were able to accommodate me, because I had come from quite a ways away. Staff is polite and efficient. I would definitely recommend their services."
