San Diego Photography Tours

"I have a new camera - first one for me with interchangeable lenses. With a trip to Europe coming up and a lot to learn, I thought a session with a photographer would accelerate my learning, teach me some great tips and tricks, and get me more comfortable with my new camera overall. I spent 5 hrs with Julie and she was wonderful! She tailored the session exactly to my needs, and I got to see some great places in San Diego with a Cliffs-Notes style history and culture summary in the process (my choice - Julie could have gone a lot more in depth, but photography was my priority). After the session, Julie followed up with an email containing a treasure-trove of tips and resources that will help me further advance my photography skillset. "Loved the private tour with Julie. We came away with more confidence in how to adapt our camera to the scene, learned a lot about the history of San Diego, and had a fabulous time touring a couple of historic parts of San Diego. As very amateur photographers we had practice with composition, working in manual mode (compared to auto mode to see the difference), and sunset photography. We found the history of Old Town and Balboa to be fascinating. Julie was the perfect combination on instructor and guide.
