"I am new to Bakersfield and was excited to have found Farr Medical Group for my family’s health care needs. So far, I have been seen by a wonderful Nurse Practitioner Susan Schneider and (when she was away from the office) I met with a great Doctor by the name of Alycia Campos. Who happens to be my husbands doctor. My visit with Dr. Campos exceeded my expectations, she was down to earth, very knowledgeable and took her time to answer every question that I had on my long list. Both women from the Farr medical team had those same attributes and are both wonderful people who care about their patients. I promise, no matter what you are going through after visiting Farr Medical, you will leave your appointment feeling better and with a smile on your face."

"Doctor was great. The doctors are always very nice and welcoming. The follow up is not great at all. For example I had an x-ray no one called me back until I called back to follow up. I was sent out for blood work through another doctor and same thing. I requested a weightless prescription and it was denied by insurance when I called back it was a mess when it came down to requesting a new prescription. It seems like I go there for a concern and then I am forgotten about until I'm reaching out to them. I would like to have a doctor that care for their patients. I understand they see different people and may not remember everyone but it feels like a numbers facility how many patients can we get in to bill for services rather then being a patient that is valued. I don't need anyone after me constantly being nice just some that is interested in having me as a patient. The facility is beautiful and doctors seem nice but some staff members need to show that they value their patients well being and make sure they understand patient concerns. Having consistency in follow up is key to patient value in my opinion and the over the phone communication is horrible. In the offices the service is great."

"Dr.Farr has taken the trepidation out of doctor visits for me. He walks in with a big smile and his hand extended for a welcome handshake. He asks about my well-being, my family and home life. He then fully listens to my medical concerns and interacts with me, giving his recommendations plus other treatment options. We come up with a plan together, leaving me with a sense of validation and participation in my own medical care. I never have to wait and the staff is always polite, friendly, helpful, informative and always professional. I obviously recommend this medical group if you are looking to be medically established. "Service was fast, efficient and thorough. I brought my Mom in for a required annual exam, our Doctor noticed a band aid on her back and referred her to a dermatologist after seeing what was underneath. I would not have seen that as my Mom has dementia and forgets to tell me when something is wrong. She was gentle and kind and I appreciated her observations and testing recommendations. Highly recommend this practice."
