Reviews of San Diego Beer, Wine & Spirits Tours
"Great experience on our winery tour from San Diego. Paul Anthony was wonderful and the value of the wine and food pairing at the two wineries we visited was great. Definitely recommend this experience to my future clients."
"My husband and I are currently on our honeymoon in San Diego. My parents were visiting a few years ago and did the train tour. Unfortunately, due to to COVID, they are no longer running the train tour, so we decided to do the chauffeured wine tour. We visited two wineries, were picked up and dropped off by our tour guide and had charcuterie at the first winery (and visited shops), and dinner at the next winery. Everything was awesome! The wine, the food, all outstanding. Our tour guide, Paul Anthony was so much fun, personable and had a wealth of knowledge to share about San Diego and wine. We would definitely recommend this tour!"
"My daughter and I went on this chauffeured wine tour while I was visiting her in San Diego. It was just what we were looking for! Generous pours, plenty of food, beautiful wineries and door-to-door service. Also little extras like chocolate pairings made the trip even nicer. Paul Anthony was great and provided lots of information about the area as well as the development of wineries in San Diego. Highly recommend this tour! I hope to do it again next time I'm in SD."
"The tour was awesome, and Paris was an exceptional tour guide. He has extensive experience in the wine industry, and it showed. He actually took us into the vineyards to experience/tasts the grapes on the vine and then took us into the winery to further explain the wine-making process. He also served as a photogapher on many occasions, and his pictures were great. Overall, the wines were excellent, and we purchased several bottles. The first stop had a cheese and meat plate that was great accompaniment to their wines. What was missing was an obvious place to dispose of the excess wine you didn't want to drink. The only choice seemed to be to dump it on the ground, which didn't seem cool. Because of this, one of our party was a newbie and consumed all the samples and was feeling it by the time we arrived at the last stop and decided to sit in a shady spot and "metabolize" the earlier samples. Paris went out of his way to check on her and even brought her to dinner from her shady spot. He was the consummate professional who provided exceptional door to door service. I've been on winery tours before but this was by far the best."
"Absolutely not to be missed!! Marti was our guide and took us through a fun, entertaining and educational day with great wine and food and terrific company. This tour was the highlight of our San Diego visit!"
