"I was visiting in Ventura. I took a nasty fall and had a deep cut over my eye with swelling and bleeding and bruising. I also had abrasions on my knee and arms. The nurse took my vitals and said I would need stitches and possibly a scan due to the severity of the scan. He went to get the doctor. He came back and said she refused to see me. She didn’t want to do stitches. I understand that they were on my face. But to not examine me or assess my need for a ct scan or clean my wounds. This is beyond negligent to have me drive myself to another place. Do not go here. The nursing staff was great. I feel bad for them because they want to do a good job and the nurse was very apologetic"
"I went here to because of a skin infection. The doctor, Dr. Lio, was very thorough. He diagnosed it as staph upon examination and then also sent a swab in for testing, which really helped because it identified the right antibiotic. I had to come back multiple times to change out the gauze packing. They were really nice about it and offered decent advice regarding staph in the martial arts environment. Unfortunately Dr. Lio took a job at Kaiser and they had ti close the urgent care here, although it looks like it’s open again."
"Negative 5 stars. They completely misdiagnosed my broken arm. Telling me therapy would fix it, 8 months later getting surgery from second opinion dr, due to fact this center failed to recognize I needed surgery at time of their 'care'.. *the guy who did cast did terrible job *every appt waited past 1 hour from my 'appt' *every time I was there, a different Dr was seeing my charts, figuring out my xray. * xray technician failed to show care, twisting my injured arm aggressively so they can have the perfect shot... *sent me to Oxnard location initially, in advance knowing their xray machine was not working for past 2 weeks... On and on. I'm have never seen so many mistakes in my life for a medical center, F minus, I hope they get a new director, wish all the next poor patients all the luck with these clowns ....."
"Virtually impossible to get in touch with them. I've had to call several times over the last year. The phone just rings and rings, then cuts you off. Occasionally, you get a message asking you to call back within business hours even though you are calling within business hours. Their opening hours aren't accurate and they close for lunch. Everyone's entitled to lunch but it should be taken in shifts at an Urgent Care. I was there on my own lunch break one day when they just shut down and left a bunch of sick people sitting on the ground outside waiting for them to come back. They all walked past us unapologetically and said they'd be back after lunch. We just sat there - chair-less on the concrete - confused for almost an hour. Then, of course, had to wait a couple more hours to be seen. Just go to the ER, if you can."
"When I came in I was greeted with nothing but attitude and hostility from the front receptionist. It was around 9:50 am-10:00am I did not get the woman’s name but I gave the time so you can reference as to who was there. When I was asked why I was there I responded with information I received from another doctor and the receptionist not only questioned my reason to be seen but continued to ask as if they didn’t treat what I needed to be treated for. She continued to give attitude and be very condescending. I told her my symptoms for gardia and was asked to wait in my car and was not given a wait time. After an hour of waiting in my hot car I decided to call and ask for the wait time I was told about 30-45 minutes. I had to use the bathroom so I decided to drive to a near store and within 15 minutes they called and said I was next up. I told them the situation and that I’d be right there. They continued to call and ask where I was after I had told them I went to use the restroom and that I’d be right there. I assumed they had other patients but when I walked in there was no one in the waiting room anymore. I will never go back. I felt so uncomfortable and was treated with nothing but attitude…the doctor was amazing and the nurse was nice as well. But if my first interaction makes me feel so uncomfortable to even ask to use the restroom then I rather not use your services."
