"I ordered my JR passes with this company and even paid for expedited shipping. An email was sent to be the next day saying a label has been created. It is days before my trip and the passes have yet to be sent out for delivery so I decided to go to their office in Long Beach. It was impossible to find the office. I walked around the area and could not find the office for the life of me. I emailed them asking for a refund and thankfully they did. apparently there was an influx of orders before the price increase so they couldn’t keep up. Right…..there are a lot of bad reviews about them on here so I would not recommend ordering from them."
"Terrible customer service myself and my significant other bought our JR passes from this company but they ended up attempting to stiff us with the 15% cancel charge even with all the events currently going on in Japan. Stating "japan is fine so we don't have to give you a full refund" right as Hokkaido is in a current state of emergency and other companies are enacting thier goodwill policies. Too bad these guys don't believe that either or seem to be informed about current events. Stay away and don't order from this company!"
"My pass was lost in the mail. I emailed the company and started a claim with UPS as well. The company send an email back asking me to check my neighbor's mail. I'm leaving to Japan without our passes or a refund. Don't buy from them. The customer service is terrible."
"Ordered a rail pass from them and decided to pick it up at the office in Long Beach since I live here. Been waiting in the lobby for 30 minutes now, and I have had the receptionist contact them twice. Not really sure how a company can treat a customer like this."
