"Having a tonsillectomy at 30 is not ideal, however Dr. Peng and his team were phenomenal! From the first visit he explained the procedure, possible side effects and risks and then opened the floor for questions, concerns etc. As this was my first surgery, I was more anxious about my hospital experience than the procedure itself. My nurse, Niña, and anesthesiologist, Rachel, were so thoughtful and definitely helped calm my nerves before the procedure. The healing process is painful, but it’s manageable and Dr. Peng was forthright with that information from the beginning so I knew what to anticipate. Overall, I’m healing well and appreciate Dr. Peng and his team for all of their knowledge, skill, attention to detail and friendly disposition throughout this process."
