"Sunny, Parks is very professional and cares about her patients, but very poor office team. On Friday my father my brother and I began feeling sick so I called to ask where we could get tested for Covid-19 and was told they weren’t sure. Then I went to Quest Diagnostics website and read we needed a physician’s referral to get tested. I called again asking for referrals but based on the symptoms they asked us to be seen that same day instead, and they provided us with the test kits to do it ourselves in the car when earlier they had said they weren’t sure where we could get tested. Unfortunately the results for us came back positive for Covid-19 and the doctor prescribed us medication for all our symptoms and went home, since we are on quarantine we sent someone else to go pick up our prescriptions and they sent nothing! The pharmacy had no medicine for none of us and since it’s the weekend the office is closed, I can’t believe they are so irresponsible and it’s not the first time, we always have issues because they don’t send anything to the pharmacy when they need to."
"Took my money, failed me cause of a bad vision test, denied me a retest, went to Kaiser and was later passed by an optometrist, and still denied to correct my paper work for dmv.. will never go there again. DO NOT RECOMMEND! And her attitude towards me was uncalled for"
"Topic: Patient Abandonment by Access Medical (Al Hasan Mohammed, Owner) Great Physician but poor office staff specifically when it comes to billing I have dual coverage insurance primary Anthem Blue Cross & secondary Anthem Blue Shield. Lack of Knowledge by Office Staff of Dual Coverage Insurance. I was told by Office Staff that I owe $130 from my previous visit when I asked if both my insurances were billed I was told, "I don't know." I asked if I could get a copy of the bill at stake & upon my visit the Office Assistant told me that she could not produce one. I found the Office Assistant's response quite puzzling & asked, "How could you ask me to pay a bill that you do not have?" I asked the Office Assistant, "Did you only bill my primary or both? The Office Assistant became visibly frustrated (probably because she could not provide an answer). I conveyed to the Office Assistant that when a patient has dual coverage what's not covered by the primary will usually be billed & covered by the secondary. I received the most insane response from the Office Assistant, "Well, we billed your primary." I replied, "Exactly, but did you bill the uncovered charges to my secondary insurance?" Only to receive the response,, "I do not know but you can't be seen until your balance is paid." Finally, my physician whom I've had a great relationship with for the past couple of years tells me that their Office Manager isn't available & that I can not be seen until this issue has been resolved. I spoke to Corporate Office that communicated back to their Los Banos Branch that conveyed to the Office Assistant that I should've not been turned away. I advised the Office Assistant, "If you do not know the answer to the question then you call & find out if that includes calling the patient's insurance providers (which was not done) than throw them under the bus in hopes the problem will go away." Later that same day I walked into an Urgent Care where both my Insurance Providers were provided & I had no out of pocket expenses. Now, I understand why this "Place of Business" was degraded down to a 4 star in less than a year. I really will miss this physician who has been treating me for years but after being turned away due a lack of understanding medical billing & without notice I have no ambition to return. Update 7/27/2021: As per conversation with my secondary insurance representative no billing has been received by ACCESS Medical. Update 8/11/2021: As per conversation with secondary insurance on 8/9 upon "rebilling" by Access; claim was denied by secondary insurance because they were billed first. I brought this to the attention to Lisa on 8/10 & so far their mistakes have not been resolved. Update 9/11/2021: Another error on Access Medical's part. Billing for 6/14 service date was billed "twice" (primary & secondary insurances) instead of billing uncovered charges from primary to secondary insurance. Gross Incompetence & Unethical. Update: As per conversation with reps from both insurance providers; Access is still continuing to bill primary 1st & secondary 2nd in addition has failed to provide "Explanation of Benefits" to secondary insurance. Based on my overall experience with Clinic's Billing: This Clinc's failed billing department prefers unaccountability, conflict & irresponsiblness over professionalism. Be Careful"

"Thank goodness I found this place. I am from out of town and needed urgent care after suddenly experiencing bladder infection symptoms. There is another urgent care down the road from this one and they wanted almost $100 more just to see a doctor. The ladies that helped me at Access Family Medical center were very kind, and prompt to get me in to a doctor for a very reasonable rate, and the doctor herself helped to give me directions to the nearest and cheapest pharmacy. I am very grateful to have stumbled upon this center. Kind employees, great service, clean facilities."
