"Really enjoyed this trip! The crew was really friendly and well-informed, and went out of their way to (respectfully) chase whales for us. We only had about 15 total people on the boat, so it was perfect to spread out and enjoy the afternoon. The company and crew are great, and the outing was WELL worth the money even though we only saw a couple whales on this particular watch. Don't miss this!"
"What a great experience! Loved seeing all the sea creatures! The crew was knowledgeable and personable. We enjoyed hearing about all the wildlife. We took our Dramamine and no one got sick. A trip to remember!"
"My mom and I had an unforgettable first-time whale watching experience with this company. Despite the cold and windy weather, we were thrilled to witness several whales surfacing, along with otters, sea lions, and dolphins. The afternoon tour exceeded our expectations, making us consider trying the morning tour next. A great adventure and fantastic service! The staff were great, very knowledgeable and kind!"
"We went on 23rd Dec. It wasn't crowded at all. We saw two humpback whales up close. They said summer is the best time to see the Humpbacks at Montery, there were two, yet to swim down south. The captain communicates with other boats to identify where the sighting is possible. We saw the whales surface a few times. It's easy to spot with their characteristic blow of puff of water, and then you see them diving back with tails up. The ones we saw were big enough. The captain said one was more than 60ft and the other was around 45ft long. Although it was a sunny day, the water had enough waves to make me sick even after one Dramamine. So better to keep some ginger candies with you. The crew was helpful and they had coffee and hot chocolate on board for free. It wasn't very cold due to the sun but of course it was windy. We also saw some sea lions at the coast, the captain told us how to tell them apart from seals, and saw lots of pelicans on our way to find whales."
"We had a wonderful experience whale watching with Discovery Whale Watch. We saw a family of 6 orcas and two humpback whales. The matriarch orca was playing with the wave of our boat. She was so close !! Purely magical moments. The crew was friendly and telling us fun facts about the wildlife. I can only recommend :)"
