"Open Sundays also. Check out the East Bay Parks many many activities. I am headed to a plant nature guided tour where we will make some natural teas from found plants."
"Very quite during weekdays, only deers were wondering around."
"Great place to get info about trails, animals and whatnot. You can get wilderness permits here. They only cost 2 dollars, but they don’t accept cash."
"Well organized with nice staff. There are many organized events that are kid friendly."
"This is one of those hidden gems that are almost too good to be true. First of all, the road from the Bay Area is fantastic, twisty narrow in a canyon, it looks hundreds of miles away from that bedlam that is the Bay Area. Once you get there, some old style architecture for the visitor buildings, exhibits, samples of wildlife, and so on. They have a rich calendar of events with activities for children but interesting also for adults. Very competent personnel."
