Concentra Urgent Care

"Poor front desk experience...rude and disorganized. I was directed to log in electronically and they did not spell my last name correctly. I had a Hep B vaccination and was not given instructions that I needed to come back for booster shots...found out after I looked up details of the shot when I got home. When I returned to get my TB test results, I informed the person who gave me instructions (printed instructions which interestingly did not give clear instructions on the booster) and we wrote down the dates for the booster on the paper. That being said (other than poor instructions)..I found that once I got beyond the waiting room the staff was very friendly. It is also a bit irritating that there is no way to schedule an immunization/test ...I waited 2 hours, in a fairly empty waiting room to get the TB/Hep B shots and only after asking the ETA did someone say 'I will put your file up front to get you in.'"

"Horrible! Absolutely worst care experienced. If I could give them negative stars I would. I had waited nearly 3 hrs for an "Appointment". I was running into the time I would have to leave to get my kid from school and their only care provider told me he would be 15 minutes. 45 minutes after that I left only to be rescheduled by my work. Later I found out that this is their normal rate of care. Everyone of my coworkers that had to come her for a 5 minute physical exam waited 3+ hrs."

"The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. They were also very helpful in taking care of my needs. Even when I had difficulty with one test; because of my medical challenge the nurse attendant to me was very supportive and helpful. She was very encouraging never letting me give up a getting through the process even when I had doubts and showed frustration. She didn’t let me give up or let my problem hinder me. They took care of me checking me in and out; getting me too and from the clinic with ease. Great experience overall."

"Since this is an Urgent Care this is a very busy clinic and requires long wait times. I only needed a TB skin test required by my employer and contracted with Concentra to perform. I arrived 10 minutes before opening and there were only 3 people in front of me and I still waited 1 hour for my test. when I returned 2 days later to have it checked the waiting room was packed and I still had to wait 20 mins for the simple check that was suppose to be no waiting. i was asked to sit and wait and she just forgot about me. i had to grab someone’s attention to be recognized. I’ll probably go somewhere else next year. The staff I encountered were very nice however in my initial visit the intake person had a very bad upper airway infection with laryngitis and loose cough. She only wore a simple mask and she should have been provided an N95. she was not there on my followup… I’ve been in healthcare for 48 years. lots of improvements needed here."

"Went in without an appointment for a pre employment drug test. Despite it being very busy. I was seen in about 15 minutes. The at the front desk was very professional. The other lady conducting the drug test was Very nice and efficient."
