Reviews
"Had an overnight sleep test here a week ago. The tech was okay, but the place was dank, not too clean, and worse, noisy! No excuse for an environment like that for a sleep study. It's been impossible to get a hold of Jiva, no call backs so far. Never again."
"UPDATE 10/18/23: Here we are 3 months later and still nothing. Original: I’ll start this off by saying this review is not reflective of the staff that I have interacted with in person at the Sleep center. They have been super nice and helpful as they can be when I’ve gone there. This is more of a review on whatever is happening in the background. I had an at home sleep study done July 12 and 13th 2023. It’s now August 16 and I’m still waiting for the results. I had to go in-person to finally talk to someone and I askws what was taking so long. The reply was that “the report is not ready yet.” Well, no sh!t, but nobody can tell me why the report isn’t ready. I don’t understand why it takes so long to download a few hours of data off of what is essentially a Fitbit. For the test, you wear a pulse oximeter on your finger for two nights and it records your pulse and your oxygen to see if your oxygen drops to test for sleep apnea. I just wanna know if I have sleep apnea or not so I can figure out what the next step is so I can actually sleep at night. I’m just waiting here and I have no idea why it’s taking so long. Is there a backlog? Is the data corrupt? Is this process outsourced? Can someone please tell me where or why I don’t have the results yet? It’s so frustrating knowing that you guys might have the answer as to what the next steps for me might be, and I’m just sitting on my hands waiting. I’ve never had to wait this long for any test results before whether it’s bloodwork or radiology or any other kind of referral."
"The at home sleep test was easy enough. You go, pick up the equipment, and use it for a day. The problem comes when you want your results. They are not responsive by email or phone. It has been over a month and I still have not gotten my results or even been able to talk to someone on the phone."
"Would have definitely given 5 stars, but the only negative is the administrative staff. They are curt, and short in their responses, and they do not listen when you are trying to give them pertinent information. The staff that actually perform the study are great. Also, my doctor referred me to them and said if I didn't hear from them in a week to call them. I did not hear from them. I called and left a message. I never got a return call. Weeks later, and I mean WEEKS later, I received a phone call from CCSC wanting to schedule my appointment. I mentioned to the woman on the phone that I had tried to make an appointment weeks ago and had never been called back. She said, "well we are calling now..." Inconsiderate and rude front office staff. Probably because they are the only game in town."
"I did sleep study there few years ago. The room was setup well - humidifier, A/C for climate control. With all the sensors attached to my body I though I'd never fall asleep but I managed. Results seemed reliable as far as sleep indicators go that doctor was interested in. The part that wasn't great is they invite you to start at 9pm and sleep study ends at 5am. This is well outside my sleeping hours - starts and ends too early. I felt tired and sleepy whole day after that."
