"My daughter has had to go here once a year for the last ~4 years. Always a good experience when we go! Professional and friendly staff. Our most recent visit with Dr. Grady was great!! He was so great with our shy/scared toddler and made her laugh multiple times. My daughter had such a good experience - she’s saying she wants to go back to the doctors."
"So far my interaction with the receptionist was the opposite to friendly. Her name was Nadine and keep talking and talking asking questions to a point that I was not longer sure if I was really making an appointment for my daughter or was a collection company. I asked her to slow down and she started to go super slow and made me feel insulted. Judging for all the mixed reviews most probably I will cancel the appointment. I'm not feeling comfortable at this point to trust my daughter health to this practice."
"Doc said he saw no necessity for any imaging and my sons issue was normal. Then he and the nurse/intern kept pushing for a cat scan just in case I wanted it. Again, they tell me there is no problem. Then they push for a cat scan for my piece of mind they say. They pushed like they were selling a used car. I'm not going to image my son and expose him to radiation unless it is medically necessary. Horribly unprofessional, didn't care about exposure to my son with an unnecessary procedure. I would not go back here unless it was life or death."
"Receptionist are friendly and they have some good doctors if you are lucky to see those. Over all stuff is not competent - the doctor Ruchi Gupta didn't manage to recognize mouth-hands-feet that had been successfully diagnoses by the daycare nurse. We have to go 2nd time to get a prove from the doctor that the child is not sick and guess what? It turns out indeed a child has mouth-hands-feet. What a great service to charge twice for the visit! Waiting time for a doctor might be well beyond the accepted level."
"What a terrible office and staff! I have had nothing but unprofessional, lazy and uncommunicative interaction with this office. Doctor Americk is obviously very skilled and professional. I have nothing negative to say about her. She deserves a 5 star. However, her staff at the Concord office is unprofessional, rude and useless. My child was scheduled for surgery in March but i found out by luck (I called the office to confirm) that Dr. Americk was cancelling that week so my appointment had been cancelled and I wasn't even notified. It was extremely difficult to reschedule, but after extreme stress, my child was finally re-scheduled. I was told that someone would call me to give further instruction a week prior to the surgery. Again, as I hadn't received any instructions or call, I reach out to the ENT department to speak to someone. Couldn't reach anyone, was always told I would have someone call me back but instead someone left a message confirming the surgery date and time. I made arrangement with work etc... for it and called the office to get information on financial and pre-ops. Still no one responded, instead another voicemail informing me the day before the surgery that it had been now moved to a much earlier time and I needed to be at the hospital an hour and a half early. I live an hour away and have to navigate through very unpredictable traffic. Again, no pre-ops instructions, those came literally hours prior to the surgery. I was told the anestiologist would call that evening for additional questions/instructions. No call! I went to the hospital as scheduled. The very heavy traffic made it very stressful. We arrived in a waiting room with no one at the window. Waited about 15 minutes and were brough into the surgery center. After weighing my child in, it was decided that she would need to have an IV started while still awake due to her higher than average weight. The nurse (s) tried at least 4 different times, each time missing or causing the veine to roll, thus causing my child extreme stress, tears and anxiety just prior to surgery (minutes), not to mention pain and brusing. Finally, the anestiologist stopped them and told them he would do it another way. Why put her through all this then if there was another alternative? What I am trying to say is my child was put to some extreme, unecessary pain and stress, she will never forget this very scary experience. I found that the majority of the staff was very casual, they didn't necessary provide any sort of comforting, reassuring support to her except for one nurse, who took care of her during her recovery. Bless her heart, she was professional, gentle, carrying. Thank you "C"."
