"First time to the Broad. Why did I wait so long?! Beautiful pieces of art. Great way to spend a Saturday... just remember to go online in advance and get your free tickets. Parking is a little tricky so just use one of the nearby parking lots and walk there."
"Fantastic museum with beautiful art including Andy Warhol, Jean Michel Basquiat, and Keith Haring. Free admission but make sure to make reservations online in advance."
"What a great modern art museum and in such a cool building. We got tickets for general admission + the infinity room about 3 weeks ahead of time, for free. You just have to remember to check at 10am on the last Wednesday of the month. The tickets for the infinity room are timed but we showed up about an hour early and had time to go through the entire third floor and get in line for the infinity room, getting us to the front of the line at exactly our ticket time. We then went through the first floor room in about 15min. We loved the infinity rooms even if you only get 1min. The third floor rooms were more interesting than downstairs with larger pieces. The building itself is great, with lots of cool dark concrete stairways. We spent about 90min here."
"This is a nice pop art museum in downtown LA. The tickets are free, but you need to reserve them online. The infinity mirror exhibit requires a different ticket, but also free. We came here last minute and could only secure the general admission. It's about 1.5 to 2 hours of leisurely walking with plenty of places to rest if you choose to do so. The parking is right under the museum and costs $17 (as of 2/6/24) for three hours and you will need your validate your ticket right inside of the exit door. Note: you can check out the Miseum of Contemporary Art right across the street. It’s a bit smaller than the Broad, but for three hours of parking, you have enough time to see both very nice contemporary art museums."
