"Wait for 45 minutes for my baby dry cream. It's not busy!!!"
"TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! First of all, I did a medical exam back in Oct 2023. I never received the results through the online portal. I called NEMS multiple times to follow up throughout the 4 months. All I got was the result wasn't ready or I was simply ignored. After 4 months, an assistant finally reached out to me via patient portal that the results looked normal. I asked a follow up question about the test result and they told me I had to schedule a telephone appointment with the doctor. They said they would need to charge me for it because it was an "appointment". I told them I just wanted to get clarification on an exam I did months ago but they said they couldn't tell me anything unless I paid for another appointment.... First of all, why did I pay for the initial appointment to do the exam? It is stupid that I need to pay again to know the test results. Does that mean if I have 5 follow up questions, I'll need to pay 5 times? This is ridiculous... if the assistant was able to tell me the results via portal, how come they couldn't answer my follow up question through the portal? Not to mention on the day of the telephone appointment, I had to call them because the doctor didn't call me on time. They told me the doctor was running late but they had no idea how late or what time the doctor would be calling me.... If you're late for an appointment, the least you can do is provide a time of when the doctor will be calling... Its ridiculous that the patient needs to wait for god knows how long for the telephone appointment in order to obtain test result info.... Very silly and stupid!!! By the way, I was charged $110 to get my follow up question answered"
"I would not want to deal with NEMs in the future if I don't have to. Yesterday the staff over the phone told me to go the NEMs on ocean ave to enroll for every woman count program before the MD appt on san Bruno ave the same day. Then I was very rush to go to the site on ocean ave. End up the whole enrollment process took near 30 mins. Because of the enrollment process, it made me 20 to 25 mins late to the MD appt. I also lost my pair of sun glasses in a rush. Then I waited for 2 hrs to be seen. Then I waited another 20 to 30 mins for the referral letter. The doctor told me the normal wait time for the x ray there was quite long. Sound like it took one month to few months. Then I called sfgh to see if they got the referral to start process. Then I was told they didn't get the referral at all and couldn't find my name in the system. They said they could schedule me the next day if they have the referral. Sfgh asked me to call NEMs back. I spoke to the nurse I saw yesterday and finally I learned the referral team from NEMS needs to take three to four wks to process the referralto get the referral to sfgh . So it was misleading that the one to few months wait time is from NEMs, not from sfgh. I cannot believe how slow NEMS works."
"Terrible experience ever! My mom had an appointment for blood draw at 11:40. Then she waited there with empty stomach for 30 minutes! But couldn’t get her turn! It turns out the reception desk forgot to check her in! After 45 minutes, she finally got her blood draw. Then the nurse forgot to do her blood cell count! They have to put a needle in my moms arm twice! The most careless and disorganized service! The most terrible experience EVER!"
"Always an amazing visit! My OB Dr Lee is amazing. Helps me a lot. The appointment representatives are very helpful too. They are very organized and will help you with insurances and all. It’s like a one stop shop for, this clinic helps you with everything even with fixing your insurances or applications. Sabrina is also very helpful over the phone. I didn’t get the other names of the employees in Stockton St., San Francisco. But the guy who is in charge with the billing and insurances is very good. Everyone is always courteous here. 5 years my clinic, and counting. Would recommend! M. Dodge"
