"I was told my insurance would cover my injections. After several rounds of treatment(which did not help) I received a huge bill. When I questioned the bill, I was told that the delta bay surgery center, which is in the same building and owned by Anand, did not accept my insurance and I was responsible for the bill. Crook. Waited 1-3 hours after my appointment times to see him every time. Don’t let him exploit you like he did me."
"Evil man. Dr. Anad only cares about money. He will put you through the most insane painful procedures and bill your insurance over $50,000 and keep submitting lower prices until they accept it. Then he will want to keep doing these procedures. He is a mad man. He tortured me and he made you if you wanted basic pain meds to control your pain. I left quickly. The California is medical board wrote him up for allowing someone who was not licensed to perform injections. You can look it up to verify it. He also does not care about you, he won’t stand up to the medical board about pain meds. He will do whatever they say and to me that is a man who does not have your best interests in mind. No I’m not writing this due to not getting pain meds because he did prescribe them to me. Trust me it’s not worth it and I’m a legacy patient who was not effected my cdc guidlines. Avoid this place and, IPM, and Pain Managament Consultants."
"THE DOCTOR IS A GOOD DOCTOR EVEN THOUGH YOU HAVE TO WAIT TO BE SEEN AN HOUR OR TWO AFTER YOUR APPOINTMENT TIME BUT THINGS HAPPEN DR ANAND STAFF IS VERY KIND I LOVE EMERALD AND COURTNEY AND THE OTHER GIRL THAT IS WORKING THERE NOW AS AN EXTERN VERY KIND LADY'S LOVE THEIR ATTITUDES MAKES YOU LOVE THE PLACE ALL THOUGH I DO HAVE ONE ISSUE I CAME IN WITH MY FRIEND AND I SEE ANOTHER GIRL ON A LAP TOP DOING SCHOOL WORK THE YOUNG LADY HAD NO PERSONALITY WHAT SO EVER AND WAS RUDE WITH HER RESPONSE OTHER THEN THAT THE OFFICE IS OK WITH ME (NO THIS IS NOT MY REAL NAME )"
"I waited in this doctors office for 1 hour 45 minutes before being seen by a NP> I asked where was Dr. Anand and was told he was in EUROPE. i asked the girl at the desk why didn't someone call me. The girl AMANDA said they tried to call and left a message. I asked her what the number was, she gave me a wrong number. I asked Amanda her title, she said she was a medical assistant. She was wearing dirty street clothes and a school badge. I asked for the office manager. Maria said Dr. Anand had an emergency and had to leave the country. She said Amanda was a school intern. The NP I met Shelly, asked me what did I want. I told her, the waiting room patients told me that injection therapy was the only therapy offered. I said I do not believe in epidural therapy only. Shelly said she would call me on Monday. She did not. 5 minute total time she spent with me. No hand shake, no washing hands, no other dialogue. This MD, I was told very popular with medi-cal patients. Read YELP....SINCE HE IS SO $$$ HUNGRY, I SENT HIM MY BILL, BECAUSE HE WASTED MY TIME, THE EMPLOYEE LIED, MY APPOINTMENT WAS WITH A MD NOT A NP, MY CONCERNS WERE NOT ADDRESSED BY A PROFESSIONAL, I GOT MORE INFO FROM PATIENTS IN THE WAITING ROOM."
