"Very bad experiences here. The staff and doctors are very friendly, but what they did was very unprofessional. 1. First of all, they asked to change my appointment time just two days before my appointment. Then, it happened again on my second appointment! Then, on my third appointment, the doctor even didn't show up in her office, just had a FaceTime with me! 2. Their office is always crowded with many patients, I'll have to wait at least 40min past my appointment time everytime! 3. The first time I saw the doctor, she spent half of my appointment advertising the SPA next door. 4. They tried to make more money by not sending me or uploading my test results on the patient portal, and only show me the results if I make another appointment! 5. They never answered my phone, it took me a while to figure out that they only do texting! I've never seen any other medical centers that had such disgusting manners. Will never go there again!"
"This place is a joke! Janelle and Tamara are the biggest inconvenience in that office and causes you more headache than necessary. They're lazy and full of Excuses "I'll handle it" and "call backs" is what they're good for. I've asked many times they fix billing on a test the performed that was EXPIRED. I got a bill from Quest and they are trying to charge me for an expired kit LEMI sent in (none of the 2 nurses or dr checked expiry date). I called more than necessary to get those 2 to fix the mistake and Janelle said she did fix it back in Janruary but here we are in MARCH not fixed because i got a second bill. It's sad I have to go to my insurance and File a greivence against the office. Janelle pushes work off to Tamara and nothing gets done. I sent many emails with no response when I call the office they're RUDE AND GIVE ME ATTITUDE FOR THEIR NEGLECT and upset that they have to actually do their job and fix the mistake she never fixed in Janruary. I'd give negative 12 stars if I could. The professionalism doesn't exist here at Lemi Medical and if you want to be taken care of id find another medical office."
"Main purpose of this review is to acknowledge and praise the staff at Lemi. I am a new patient of Dr. Kanen and so far very pleased with my visit. I was slightly hesitant due to the reviews, however, my primary visit was very pleasant. The front desk staff Shafia, was extremely helpful and accommodating, I have expressed that I can only come in during a certain day and time and she patiently assisted me to schedule my next appointment. I truly appreciate my overall experience here."
"By FAR the best experience I've had with a general practitioner. Dr. Kanen and her nurses, they are super friendly and professional. Their concierge style practice truly makes you feel cared for as a patient. My wife and I have always been seen on time. We've never had to wait past our appointment time. Dr. Kanen is VERY thorough, extremely compassionate, and always well thought out in her approach to our care. I feel like we have a real partner in our healthcare. Our appointments feel very open ended. We've never felt rushed. This isn't a your-20-minutes-are-up medical practice. Highly recommend."
"Shady, strange, and unprofessional. The office is in an old "World Financial Group" office and they haven't even redecorated it. Low effort with passive aggressive signage in the waiting room directed at patients. You can rarely get a hold of the front desk when you call. If you leave a voicemail, don't expect a response. I went in person after leaving two voicemails to speak about my elderly father who has a permanent disability and is currently hospitalized. I had to wait about 10 minutes for the lady at the front desk to finish her phone calls. She was being rude to whoever she was on the phone with. Then she was rude and dismissive to me. She said, "I'm the only one here," (even though there was a man sitting behind her at the desk?) "we are a skeleton crew and we are seeing 50 patients a day". I am thinking, if this practice has so much business, why can't it afford to hire more staff? Appointments with Dr. Kanen have always felt like a factory farm. She does not care about patients and just tries to get through the appointment as fast as possible. It's all about making money. I am changing my dad's primary care after my experience here."
