"Great little park with a network of about 10mi of trails. Be careful, there is a lot of poison oak. It burned in the fires a few years back so you get a bonus fire ecology demonstration if you pay attention to the forest you are hiking through. You should add on the hike down to the grist mill also, that was very interesting."
"Beautiful park that is open daily but the visitor center was closed when we were there. We were able to get a trail map at the entrance station. Beautiful to hike along the creek. There is an entrance fee if driving in or you can use a Poppy Pass if you have one. Their website states: The Visitor Center and entrance station are open intermittently when staffing is available."
"Nice fairly small park for a hike, picnic or camping."
"Beautiful walk/hike in the Redwoods with many other plant species. Well marked trails some of which are along a flowing creek. Similar to Muir Woods National Monument but the Redwoods are taller in Muir Woods. On Xmas day, parking was plenty and hardly anyone on the trails. Google direction is accurate. Pack your lunch and plan to be there for hours walking/ hiking or just sitting by the creek. I did not see any food vendors but the Visitor Center was closed on Xmas. I would definitely go back for a longer hike. Only 30 minutes drive from downtown Napa, well worth it."
"I love staying here. It's close to wineries, camp hosts are friendly and bathrooms are always clean. The yurts are cute! A bit loud with the road noise though."
