Reviews of Louise M. Davies Symphony Hall
"A fantastic venue with a terrific acoustic, therefore no bad seats"
"If you love the symphony you will love the Davies Symphony Hall. It is modern, airy and spacious. The sound system is state of the art and the performers unique and talented, also state of the art. The symphony members are extremely talented artists. Every performance is magical and memorable, if you love music I recommend becoming subscribers."
"Bought tickets for the "center terrace". These are bench seats, so no designated seats - it's like first come first served. But they're not like stadium bleachers - they're like sofas - with a semi-soft bottom and back rest. So not too bad from a comfort perspective. But you're literally on top of the orchestra! The sound is awesome and you can see the conductor's face the entire time - which is kinda cool! The side terrace seating is designated seats and maybe a slightly better view of the orchestra but if you can about score decently priced center terrace tickets, then I would absolutely recommend it. Even for once - it's worth the experience to see what the orchestra sees - the entire theater in front of you! Again, kinda cool! Enjoy!!"
"I have performed here. The acoustics of this hall are amazing. The reverb is very high, amplifying any small sound. I absolutely recommend this performing hall for any type of orchestral performance!"
"The concert hall is spacious and opened. It is warm and cozy at the same time. The ceiling is pleasing to the eyes by being lightly designed. The sits are very comfortable."
