Reviews of Tri-County Dental
"I took my kid (age 7) in for her first appointment. I was allowed to be with her every step of the way the next week she had a second appointment and my son had his first (my son has autism age 6 and does better with mom or dad with him when hes scared) they refused to allow me back there with either of them even when I tried explaining this to them. They then brought my son back to me less than a minute later, saying he flinched when they tried to do anything... and they then refused to allow me to see how my daughter was doing and tried blocking me from seeing her. When I did manage to get back there, I watched for a moment and noticed her fist clenched tight and her legs shake. The moment I held her hand, she visibly relaxed, and they said that she was doing just fine without me...(she told me they were ignoring her atempts to say she was still in pain or uncomfortable even when they asked her how she was doing) I personally wached her grunt something and they didn't even try to figure out what she was trying to say i had to figure out what was wrong myself and once she was done the lady at the front desk proceeded to tell me that all the people working their were medical professionals and I had nothing to worry about that my kids were perfctly safe.. when I mentioned that I have been inappropriately touched by "medical professionals" when I was a kid, she scoffed and rolled her eyes and then proceeded to tell me I was banned from ever being in there again after i had alreadytold her id never be allowing my kids back... personally, a company that won't let a parent accompany a child is fishy to me, and the level of disrespect and total disregard for a special needs patient is atrocious and disturbing"
"Extremely rude. From the receptionist even to the dental professionals/ students that help. My child had a scheduled appointment she needed treatment to have her tooth extracted they would not let me go back with her ( as they did the day prior ) the 1st day they tried to bribe her by saying if you don't let us treat you your mom will have to pay out of pocket and go else where. Also on day 1 when they tried extracting the tooth my daughter raised her hand to indicate pain they pushed her arm back down. 2nd day trying to do the tooth extraction my daughter need a few minutes to calm down they told us our appointment was over done with and to leave. They suck at having patience with children or anyone for that matter. I know it's a walk in clinic their time is limited but they act as though they don't care. I'm proud to say I found a dentist that will see my daughter and is great with kids. I wouldn't recommend even bringing a dog or cat here. Just a terrible place. I let them know they suck too before I exited the building. So thanks tri county fir nothing but a horrific experience!"
"This place is truly terrible. The doctors are rude & act like their patients are below them because they are poor. That's why separating out medicaid patients to get "free" dental care from students is a bad bet. Who wants to be used in that way. They're retraumatized me with their careless & dismissive behavior. Do not waste your time."
"I called yesterday to ask a few questions and they were answered promptly. The receptionist informed me of what they do, and advised me to show up today before 7:30am for emergency walk ins. I was informed of how emergency walk ins work and understood that appointments and priority patients go first. I was honestly just happy to be seen so fast without an appointment. I believe I was third in line for this morning's emergency walk ins so I was in and out in less than three hours. Between the receptionist, the kind woman who did my xrays, and the dentists that worked on my teeth it was probably the best dentist experience I have ever had. Everyone communicated well and I had everything explained to me. The atmosphere was friendly and I felt comfortable being there. If I could rate higher than 5 stars I would. It really means a lot to have a place like this that I can go to when I am in a lot of pain and need help. Thank you to everyone at that clinic for what you do!"
"I was able to make an appointment and the availability was great. Today my son went in to get a wisdom tooth pulled and I was very happy with the staff and overall experience. What I do think needs to be addressed is what I saw happen as we were about to leave! There was a lady that came in late for her appointment due to Mc Donald's and decided to get nasty with the staff. First of all how old are you? Where did your manners go? Why is it the staffs problem that you needed to eat McDonald's over seeing a dentist? And most of all who raised you??? The temper tantrum that I saw a grown woman throw was sickening. Which doesn't help the staff at all! The way I saw the staff handle it was very professional and I feel bad that they have to deal with people like this! Either way, great place to go, friendly staff, clean, and would recommend to anyone that would make an appointment and show up on time for it!"
