"My daughter has been part of STA for three years now, and she absolutely loves it. She joined after attending their performance of The Lion King Jr, turning to me at intermission and whispering "mama can I do this?" It was the first extracurricular she ever asked for, but I wasn't sure how to even begin with getting her into musical theatre. Then the director of STA came onstage and said half the kids were brand new to theatre! We just had to audition. It's been three years now and what a magical experience! STAs values emphasize inclusivity, meeting the kids where they are, and building them up in a community atmosphere. My daughter has learned and grown so much in her experience with STA. She is more confident on stage AND in other areas of her life. I have been backstage and the comraderie between the kids is just amazing. They support each other, cheer each other on, and are always there to help when needed. STA is an educational theatre in all aspects. They include the kids in prop-design, costume aspects, and even helping shape the characters. Fantastic youth theatre group!"
