"Cabins are beautiful inside and out! Gorgeous setting in the trees and ferns with lots of windows in the cabin to appareciate them. Up to date inside with everything we needed despite being a tiny home - full kitchen, great shower, comfy bed. The cabins are very private from each other as they are separated by trees. Close proximity to the redwoods. Booked through AirBnB."
"This place is amazing! Very thoughtful accommodation management! This will be the place we return to when visiting the Redwoods. (Our third time to the Crescent City area, but first time staying at the Fern Hook Cabins.) Please note, there is no wifi, no TV, and just enough cell service to plan the next day's adventure. If you are expecting that type of connectivity, you will be disappointed. We wanted to connect with nature instead, so this is the perfect place to sit on the porch, look out any of the windows, and just slow down without distractions. The bed was comfortable and soft enough for side sleepers. Kitchen was thoughtfully stocked (coffee, tea, salt, pepper, sugar, garlic seasoning, hot sauce, oil spray for cooking) way better than any hotel with a kitchenette I've ever stayed at before. A++"
"Although we only stayed one night we really enjoyed it. Our family of four stayed here and it was fine. Sleeping arrangement included couch and floor mattress who was fine and comfortable. It was private and quiet. Down the road, five minutes away, was Jedediah state park and we were able to go to the day use portion for swimming and short hikes. A little further down the road was a nice redwood grove for hiking as well. We will probably return at some point for a longer stay."
