"If you’re looking for good deals this isn’t the place for you. Overpriced for used clothing. Plain white T-shirt $15."
"Awful. We went in here and found two items of clothing. One wasn’t marked and we asked the employee who texted the owner. The owner went back and forth forever with the employee while we were just standing there. The shirt was ripped and wasn’t worth more than $10. The owner wanted over $20. The employee said if we give a five star review we’ll get 20% off. So i wrote one (before even paying) for the money. But it took so long In the end we said forget it we’ll just get the sweatshirt. So we went to pay but the register wasn’t working. So the employee (who was very nice) said he could hold it for us. But there was no sense of customer service here. So we drove all the way back the next day to get it and pay and it was a different employee who couldn’t be bothered to help us. She didn’t contact the other employee or owner and the shirt was nowhere to be found. Furthermore she disagreed that the register wasn’t working? I’ve never been in a business that could care less about actually making money or retaining customers. Worst off I had left a five star review before all of this! So here is the updated: 1 star. There are far far better vintage shops (both selection and customer service) in San Diego."
"Great vintage shop with a lot of options. Could stay in there all day not to mention the staff is extremely helpful. Very fun to talk to, and have a great fashion advice if I do say so, myself. Definitely would suggest popping in catching a vibe and leaving with some new threads and maybe some new friends. Plus, the dude Tristan does jujitsu so automatic five stars if you ask me definitely will return and bring a friend."
"This is one badass store!! As someone who isn’t a San Diego citizen & who’s visiting PB for a week, this shop definitely made my trip even more memorable!! The store has a bunch of cool vintage stuff & Tristan, the clerk is a cool & friendly guy!! Definitely recommend!!"
"I have to say I read the bad reviews but this place is one of my favorites. The owner has great taste. Idk where he gets his stuff, but it's good stuff. All high quality. Yeah you pay more than Goodwill, but he has to work to find stuff and also afford rent. It's worth the premium. Keep in mind that he mixed stuff for guys and girls which I think is intentional but cool. You can find something cool and high quality no problem. Last thing is this is the PB location. He also has a place in OB which is bigger and has more stuff. It's worth checking both spots out. Good luck happy hunting!"
