Reviews of Five Guys
"got really annoyed by the guy who received orders. not heard me right and checked wrong order anyway. totally burned the buns to blackened and scorched. really worst place with both taste and services. terrible. not worth even 1 star."
"I am a little ambivalent about Five Guys. Cool atmosphere and the fries are incredible. I'm just not over-the-top about the burgers. They are very good, but crazy messy. So messy that I think it's by design. Not their fsult, just not quite my style. I will be reading here again, with a pile of napkins."
"You'll spend like $30 on a burger and fries and the portions keep getting smaller. They don't even put together your burger, they put it all in a aluminum box thing and then you have to put on your own toppings and put everything together. If you order for delivery, they will do the same thing but they won't give you any buns so you have to provide your own but still pay full price. So you're paying and you have to make your own burger pretty much, they just cook the patties for $30. I ordered twice because they didn't send me what I ordered the first time and they did it again the second time but that time, all the toppings were in it and still missing the buns. I thought they actually got it right but nope. Ordered again for a third time, so let's see if they get it right the third time. Not sure what is so difficult about putting buns on a cheeseburger but it looks like this place is trying to even skip out on buns to save money and still charge you 30 bucks for a burger and oversalted small fries. I placed my order around noon for lunch and it's almost 3:00 p.m. and I'm still waiting for my correct lunch to be delivered correctly. Not sure what's so difficult about putting together a cheeseburger with buns..All of that product goes straight to the trash, at this rate they are going to go out of business with the amount of product they are losing for making incorrect orders. UPDATE The restaurant called me using the driver's phone and they informed me that they don't have any buns and that is the reason why they are sending everybody food with no buns at all. So if you like burgers with no buns, then this is your place."
"*update* GM reached out via phone and offered to make it right. Said what I expected (staff shortage) which is understandable. Offered to make it right so I asked him to give some random kid a milkshake and make their day. Added a star for reaching out. I hate that I'm writing this because I really like 5 guys burgers (even more than in and out). That said this place is horribly understaffed and the service is a mess. Ordered a simple bacon cheese all the way and a kids burger with large fries and a drink. Paid the almost $40 and left a tip. Went to soda machine to find 6 different choices and 1 ice machine not making ice, opted for water. Mentioned to counter kid and he said they've been out for some time. Hmmmmpffff... after getting rest of order I took off and got home only to find literally a quarter of 1 slice of bacon on my burger but happy to report there was about 7 lbs of mushrooms and 2 end pieces of tomatoes. My kids burger looked ok but was put together really sloppy. The fries were scattered everywhere in bag and was in a small cup for fries despite large order. I feel like the regional owner is letting this franchise down and ill just continue going to others."
"Been coming here for the past year. Employees are almost always very friendly. Lately though, the wait times can be fairly long. Couple weeks ago I waited almost 30min. They had 4 people working but I guess they got backed up. Anyways, the burgers are large and fries are not bad! French you fries can be salty but they give you a lot! Burgers are on the expensive side. You can add as many toppings as you want though. For 2 of us, it costed around $45 for everything. All in all, definitely worth a visit. Different than In N Out, both good!"
