Reviews of California Citrus State Historic Park
"Excellent place to spend time. Great clean park with amazing views."
"Neat stop when in Riverside 91 Exit Van Buren. Parking is $7 per car. We stopped by on Sunday after Big Bear trip. There was a small museum and where we could try some fruits. We walked around to see lots of various citrus trees with fruits. Note that there were signs that you could not pick fruit from the tree or ground. The small streets surrounding the park were full of farms and orchards, also with a lot of orange trees. It was nice to drive around to see and take pictures."
"This is an incredible and iconic piece of history for the city of Riverside. Strolling through this beautiful & colorful park brings you back to a whole different world and feel of the world of citrus where all the first oranges in Riverside were brought for the first time. This is great for families and large groups. We enjoy running through the orchards and watching all the different citrus types. do not forget to go into the mini citrus museum and the gift shop. They have very unique items."
"300 acres of citrus, including some exotic varieties. Easy walking trails with signs indicating varieties and some history of citrus growing in California. It should be noted that the small park museum is only open on weekends, Friday to Sunday. Also, picking of fruit is prohibited, but some is allowed when the museum is open. Everything is very family friendly."
"Definitely the prettiest place in Riverside in my opinion. The view from the top of the hill behind the museum is amazing. Great place to walk around or ride through with a bike."
