Reviews
"It’s a good shop center I just discovered today. We went there for the indoor playgrounds. They have Target, Penny something, Barnes & Noble, and a food court. There’s a few eateries and drink store. However, there are a lot of shops closed permanently. Hope new businesses will take over soon."
"If you need to burn time close to SF. Airport- this would be a good spot: Barns and Nobel book store here is big and has a coffee shop inside, there is also a JC Penny clothing store a restaurant and some other small shops"
"Yes it was 9 am, but never seen a target that bare, both of product and customers. Maybe because it it super hard to find a way into the parking lot?! After two tries we finally arrived on second floor. Parked in front of the elevator and when the doors opened we were inside Target. Two story store, has a cart lifter next to escalator, cool. See pic."
"This review pays homage to Tanforan and reflects on what it used to be, rather than its current state in recent years. Despite the changes, the Barnes & Noble bookstore remains an excellent establishment, with two floors dedicated to books, movies, and a cozy café. Previously, I used to frequent the FYE movie store in the mall, where I enjoyed sifting through used DVDs and always managed to find a cool addition to my collection. One notable loss is Spencer's, a cool shop that unfortunately closed its doors. Another cherished establishment was Sears, a great place where we purchased our washer/dryer and bought clothes from the Lands End retailer located inside Sears. However, after the COVID-19 lockdowns, this mall experienced a significant decline, losing approximately one-third of its stores. It's disheartening to learn that the mall is slated for demolition in the near future, making way for office spaces. Hopefully, the beloved bookstore and Spencer's will find a new home at Serramonte. This mall is visually appealing and well-maintained, having undergone a complete renovation 15 years ago. It's unfortunate that the owners have struggled to properly manage this precious gem."
