"Amazing staff and nurses! Extremely happy we chose this hospital to give birth to our first child. Everyone we encountered was professional, caring and patient with all the first time parent questions and concerns. Birth went smoothly and our nurse Michelle was absolutely the best there is!! Highly recommend!"

"I had my son on 8/29/23. I had a scheduled c section. When checking in security sent me to the nurses station the nurses station sent me to the ladies in the cubicles to get a wristband the ladies in the cubicles tried to send me back to the nurses station I said I just came from there that they can't help me until I get a wristband. Then the 3 women at the check in cubicles looked upset that I interrupted their conversation and that they were going to have to help me. It took 55 mins to get a wristband because they kept talking should have only taken 10 min max. I didn't feel welcomed at all I felt like I was bothering everyone. I was the only patient in the whole waiting area. I also didn't like being wheeled into my C-section and having to listen to an older Asian nurse tell me for about 5 min that I could die and how dangerous it is to have 6-C-sections and she doesn't know who allowed me to have 6-C-sections ( like if I had to ask for permission and why did they let me) and that this better be my last baby. That they cut the same incision and that it's paper thin and that I might die. Then I thought she was done talking and a couple minutes later she found out I wasn't getting my tubes tied and started up again and asking me why am I not getting my tubes tied and do I want to have another baby and that it's so dangerous and I shouldn't have any more babies . I just said I don't know and looked away while I was trying to get excited for the baby I was about to have and stop listening to her. Maybe the nurses can keep their opinions to themselves . Why would you tell someone over and over that they might die before surgery and tell someone they shouldn't have any more babies to someone that might want another one. Still blows my mind every time I think about it that I experienced this. Last thing that needs improvement is the quality of the food and accuracy of the food orders they couldn't get one single order correct constantly missing items or given wrong item. The only reason why I gave 2 stars because the nurses after I had the baby were so nice and amazing. They really had great attitudes and very caring and helped me with the baby. I've never seen such great caring nice nurses. That's the only thing I liked from my whole stay."

"All the staff At Grossmont sharp hospital was fantastic! I have 3 kids, 2 kids born at scripts and my last one at sharp. Without a doubt Best experience I’ve ever had, hands down! Wish I would have had all my kids at sharp. Breakfast was really good! The staff was really nice and accommodating. Very informative. If I ever decide to have anymore kids in the future I will definitely have them at sharp again."

"I wish I could give this hospital 1000000 stars! We just delivered our 3rd baby yesterday (first time at this hospital) Where do I begin; I was 38 weeks when I first went in for contractions, was observed by L&D and as I was still early & no real labor signs, I was sent home. Everyone was beyond welcoming and supportive, I knew this is where I wanted to move my delivery to not only due to it being closer to home but the care provided. We went in a second time, same thing. Well we were scheduled an unnecessary C-section with OB I was getting care with (I fired him for dishonesty & received my records to take to Grossmont) Anyways I was 40 weeks & 2 days when I went in due to non stop contractions, I was admitted & again just felt the genuine love and care from everyone we encountered; even check in security was welcoming and very polite. We were trying to have our baby vaginally after a precious C-section (TOLAC) & achieved our goal with the support of everyone here. We went 100% natural & were allowed to go with our goal as planned and more. We delivered a very healthy baby & continued to receive amazing care after. I will never forget the love and care we received from EVERY SINGLE person we encountered. Thank you all sooo sooo much for helping us accomplish our goal and more! You all went above and beyond every step of the way. Also the rooms were very very clean and huge! We were so comfortable AGAIN THANK YOU ALL AND GOD BLESS"
