"Worst customer service EVER. I have been trying to pay a freaking bill for three days over the phone but either get disconnected from the automated line, or worse, have had to reduce THE WORST customer service ever. After putting in the ID number it asks for—several times, so I KNOW it’s the correct one—it tells me it’s not in the system. I waited a considerable amount of time before I FINALLY get this live TROLL of an organism who tells me I don’t have the right address, don’t have this, that, etc. til it finally HANGS UP ON ME. I am trying to pay a bill for my 90-year old mom. For like THREE DAYS, when I run into this sorry excuse of a Hoag employee. I have NEVER, EVER spoken to ANYONE in customer service ANYWHERE with such a poor attitude and absolutely ZERO people skills. Least of all anyone at Hoag. I wish I knew the name of this sorry excuse of a “customer service” thing who hung up on me. I don’t CARE if she might have been having a lousy day—my week last week was absolutely garbage and I still didn’t take it out on anyone. I called back a few minutes later, and mercifully got a really helpful gentleman who assisted me and went the extra mile to help me get the bill paid. I am so shocked about the horrible customer service troll, on account of Hoag always being such a class act. I love Hoag—everyone there from customer service to medical staff have always been helpful, kind and courteous til I ran into this sorry excuse of subhuman. She has absolutely NO business working in customer service. I’m just happy that I eventually got a nice customer service rep who was very helpful and went the extra mile for me. He’s the kind of person that is the norm for Hoag employees and I thank him very much for his help."
