"I was wondering why you guys have a phone if you’re not gonna answer it lol. Called this morning again for like the 5th time and was greeted with “welcome to Verizon wireless”. Good luck getting appointments without answering the phone"
"This place is a joke. Don't bother coming here. The front desk workers are untrained, unorganized, don't communicate, really really dumb. The doctors: it takes ages to make an appointment to see one, when you do finally, they make you wait for 1-2 hours in waiting room. They only see/talk to you for 5 minutes before rushing you to see other patients. Please please do not come here, save yourself the headache and go somewhere else."
"I want to share my girlfriend's experience with Moorpark Family Medical Clinic, which unfortunately left us extremely disappointed. She was advised by her psychiatrist to get blood work done and was given a lab slip. However, the process of getting the blood work done at this clinic turned out to be quite frustrating. When she called the clinic to schedule an appointment for the blood work, she was informed that it could only be done if she saw a doctor first and then they could forward the lab slip to the blood work person. It would have been helpful if this policy was clearly communicated beforehand. As a result, she had to schedule an additional appointment just to see the doctor, causing unnecessary delays. On the day of the doctor's appointment, we arrived early, but even after being promptly weighed, having her temperature checked, and her blood pressure taken, we experienced a significant delay in seeing the doctor. It wasn't until 11:05, well after the scheduled appointment time, that the doctor finally arrived. It was at this point that she explained her purpose for the visit and presented the lab slip, only to be informed that the blood drawing service had already ended at 11:00. This miscommunication was frustrating and disappointing. Overall, our experience with Moorpark Family Medical Clinic was marred by poor communication, inconveniences, and delays. The lack of coordination between departments and the inability to accommodate her need for blood work left us feeling disappointed and dissatisfied. We hope the clinic takes steps to address these issues and improve their service. I suggest that if you're trying to find a decent family clinic, you should look elsewhere."
"THIS IS THE WORST DOCTORS OFFICE YOU CAN EVER GO TO. They don't care about you, they don't care about refilling your prescription on time. THEY DON'T ANSWER THE PHONE EVER SO DON'T WASTER YOUR TIME. if they answer you will be put on hold for a very long time. I don't even know who my doctor is because they switch all the time hahahah. This location is disgusting. Go to thousand oaks family doctor near the oaks mall. They will take you seriously and be professional unlike this poorly ran location. Telling me i haven't gotten medicine since 2021...... that's why im holding my prescription in my hand from this year 2023. Do your job correctly. Absolutely gross. Doctors won't call you back so don't even leave a message. Again, waste of time."
"I am appalled that anyone has written a positive review. I came here for a regular physical, at which time I specifically asked for an appointment that would also include female needs. I was greeted by a very friendly, but green doctor. When I asked about birth control options, he pulled up planned parenthood on his lap top. When I asked about needing a mammogram, again he referred to his laptop and told me he wasn’t sure. He told me to make another appointment with a women doctor in the clinic. I did just that the same day since nothing was really accomplished during my visit. After returning, I waited 2 hours and was never seen. I then received a bill for over $1200 for a “complete exam”. My insurance did cover the majority of it, but when I asked how come it was even billed as a “complete exam” I was told rudely, that I was seen by a doctor. I have refused to pay the bill, and have written twice to the billing department, which was what I was told to do if I was disputing the exam. I never heard anything back. Today, I get my mail and they sent my bill to a collections agency. I had to switch my entire insurance coverage to a PPO so that I did not have to go back to this clinic. Please use caution if you go there. And really, just don’t expect much as far as “complete exams” go. Apparently a doctor with a pulse walking in, can bill your insurance company Over $1200 for doing absolutely nothing."
