"I wasn't able to see the doctor I had a 3 week advance appointment scheduled due to the following : I sent in an e-mail specifically inquiring about a Primary care provider with detailed questions about what I was inquiring about after researching PCP providers ( this doctor showed up in two different places as a PCP/gyno). I received a call a few days later to schedule an appointment 3 weeks later approximately. I inquired about the questions in the e-mail and was told they would respond to the questions before my appointment. The day before I had still not received a response at all. When I called them they had no idea about the e-mail and were unable to access it. During this call I also got a feeling that the doctor scheduled was not a PCP at all, specialty only but I had to rush back into work frustrated. I called this morning and they confirmed she's specialty gyno only. Cancelled appointment, calmly but with frustration told them my concerns, which they seemed to have no care about nor did they recommend a different doctor in the facility. As it is a very large facility I would have expected some PCP doctors present and that under most circumstances they would have tried to accommodate the situation in some way shape or form. They did not, they canceled with no interest or apologies in completely wasting my time. No longer interested in this facility because, as someone in a medical field, I wouldn't want to see a doctor with staff that don't pay attention to details or attempt to rectify their errors."
"Greetings to all who may Feast their Nero-transmitters and eyes upon this exceptional Compliment, even though the 4 hour wait is/was genuinely appreciated . However, Rumor has it that Healthcare is now A Corporate's playing Field and especially with the presence of Physician assistants and lack of trained nurses. Anyway huge genuine thanks to E.R. Dr. Tara ,Ms. Ashely, Ms. Jennifer and Jarred, and Benjamin , and their natural compassion and the high Medical standards Bar that Hoag Medical Modalities have in place and employees for these exceptional chosen Team Players . The Medical Care (I had medical procedure several days ago),i received reassured me no Blood Clot existed ,Thank God!!! "Horrible care. Wrong tests. Misdiagnosed. Called and dropped a bomb on me - the doctor doesn't call but assigns it to some peon who offers no treatment plan. Multiple messages to the doctor ignore. Then find out, no I don't have what they claim, the test is not valid! All that for nothing! They will not help with prescriptions and, rather than calling me to find the correct info, put in the wrong info into the Denial system, so of course it was denied. Month and a half of battling - more messages ignored. Blue Shield joins my side, says for weeks, yes, we will pay. Still ignored. They ignore pharmacies too. A week of multiple messages and they were ignored. Another week and half of internal messages ignored. Multiple phone calls transferred to multiple voice mail boxes that, you guessed it, ignore I've never not had an on-call physician for when things go wrong, but this nightmare of a internal Hoag system makes it very easy to ignore patients and no on-call doctor. Waited two and half weeks, ran out of prescriptions. The worst health care of my life. As soon as open enrollment hits - good bye. When you go here, you get the immediate feeling that someone is yelling at the staff; people are very quick to say, not my fault/problem. There is a serious organizational culture problem."
